We are now live with a new referral program.  You can find it under News & Info - Referrals.  If a new player who has never previously played signs up under your url, you will receive a duplicate set of all the XP, Cash and Credits received when your referral claims an achievement. This continues on account after account for however many years this player continues to play for all future names.  For example - User JackMezzo current name has received $66,007,500 and 55.59 credits from achievements on just his JackMezzo character alone, which only represents about 22% of his total hours across all names.  (Sorry we can't discuss the XP gained in the above example, but lets just say JackMezzo oozes XP like a 52 year old hooker marinading in cheap perfume who is currently on her 32nd little black book)

There are 2 very important rules that you need to understand completely:

1) No spam.  There is nothing more obnoxious than a 12 year old hopping onto a competitors game and mailing every active user with spam.  Don't be that kid.  Make sure you give your referral link to people that are expecting it, wanting it and only in situations where its appropriate.  I don't want to have to kill/ban people for spam.  We will take complaints very very seriously.  The severity and intention of the spam determine our administrative action.

2) No fraud.  This is a feature that can only be used by new users.  If an existing/previous user signs up under a referral code to benefit their friend, we may have to remove all credits gained retroactively and remove the any gains by those credits, we may also have to kill/ban people for fraud.  We will take this matter very very seriously.  The severity and intention of the fraud will determine our administrative action.
