Cleaning up the trash from the Streets Started by: DorianGray on Oct 31, '18 14:08

In his head, it made perfect sense. A national plan to clean up the garbage some leave in the Streets.
But the more he thought of it, the more DorianGray realized that the mindset of some people should change. Or be changed for them.

He wondered if he needed permission from the various Godfathers of the whole country, but at the moment he was to address them, he decided that they would probably only be interested in local cleaning companies anyway. Upon request, DorianGray would be happy to bring some street sweepers to each city. For now his focus would be more general, The Streets.

Lately, he had had trouble of hiding his disgust of what he noticed to be happening on the streets.
He knew there were quite a number of people that verbally supported him, and even more that were financially helping him out to buy a great number of trashcans that were needed for the massive amount of useless filth that was spilled upon the Streets. When he had finally received the shipment of a couple of dozen trashcans, good, solid, voluminous steel trashcans, he made a huge sign, to attract attention.

Found garbage? Get yourself a trashcan at Dorian's!
We will bring it to wherever you see bullshit

He hung up the sign in the middle of a busy road and started to wait to see things evolve..

On his way back to DorianGrays lock shop, he noticed a huge sign that DorianGray was in the process of erecting. Walking up to it, Justice patted Dorian on the shoulder. Without waiting for him to turn around, Justice beamed a smile and started to speak.

"Dorian! I was just coming to see you. What's this I see? Another business? A legit one? Maybe you should reconsider this life of crime, you're quite the entrepreneur!"

Waving towards the Lock Shop, Justice continued

"It seems I forgot the key" he explained to Dorian, slapping himself on the forehead "but I also noticed there was some rubbish piling up outside and inside your shop. Might want to deposit one of those bins there"

Taking out one of his replica paintings that he somehow always had on him, Justice placed it inside the nearest bin. Somehow the giant artwork fit with ease.

"There, first bit of rubbish for the cause. What sorts of rubbish do you take? Scrap metal? Wood? Metaphorical rubbish?" He laughed, waiting for Dorians response.

Dorian smiled as, once again, he met Ju_St_Ice

Yes, another legit business! He answered.. Isn't it important to have some legitimate businesses to cover for the stuff we actually do?

As Justice mentioned the key he forgot, Dorian remembered calling after him when Ju_St_Ice left the Free Lock Shop, and he also suddenly recalled putting the missing key in the inner pocket of his out-of-fashion 1900's style Edwardian jacket. It felt like he had been carrying the key for ages and he was glad to get rid of the extra weight he carried.

Here, DorianGray said, as he formally handed over the key, before seeing Ju_St_Ice placing what seemed to be a massive picture in one of the larger sized trashcans

Hold that! That is not what I call rubbish! DorianGray spotted the interesting replica of an aging man on the picture and looked at Ju_St_Ice

That kind of art isn't supposed to be cleared from the streets! And you know damn well there are no problems with heaps of metal or wood laying around! He winked at Ju_St_Ice before he went on to study the somewhat freaky picture he just saved from being brought to the dump.

Seeing DorianGrays face light up at the sight of the painting, Justice became confused. "But it's ugly!" he told him, to explain why he was dumping it. "And it keeps getting uglier!"

Seeing how interested Dorian was, he passed the painting over. "Here, take it. From one friend to another"

Double checking that the key he had received was in his pocket still, Justice pulled it out and after a few stabs in the dark, placed it in the lock he had taken. "Wow for once something actually worked out" he exclaimed aloud.

Turning his attention from the lock back to DorianGray, who had the painting at arms length.

"Let me know if you need any help litter picking around here."

Waving over his shoulder as he walked off, a sudden realisation came to Justice.

"Hey Dorian, that that painting looks eerily similar to someone I know. Can't quite put my finger on it though"

@DorianGray comes back to his collection of trashcans,  shakes his head and hangs up a sign

Out of Business

Turning his back to what he felt was a positive thing having a positive effect, he walked away, clearly desillusioned, hanging his head

Whilst relaxing, recuperating from die-hard slacking, in Charles_Barkley's Sonics Arena, Right got a phonecall. At first, he was hesitant to answer, as he feared it would be Mezzanine all over again, inviting him on another attempt to steal another painting from the Burke Museum that wasn't actually there, but in the end, he answered.

Me answering has nothing to do with the way you are looking, Zahara, he mumbled to her, as he stepped towards the telephone.

He picked up the horn

Refugee! What a pleasant surprise! I expected MasculinE, to be honest..

What.. Could you repeat that? A solicitor did what?

Right started listening better

..and they left it to me? What kind of enterprise are we talking of?

Hang on..

Right looked to his Right, kind of expecting Pest to be there somewhere, hidden with Skumbag in a corner, laughing about what the Insanity they set up for him.. But they weren't there..

Refugee.. You aren't taking the piss out of me, are you? You know I don't like practical jokes..

Right listened a bit longer and then replied to Refugee

All Right. If they left this to me, if I somehow inherited this Garbage Cooperation, I guess I will actually go and have to run it.. I can't let Manarco and Tnermals do it for me, can I?

Right..

Right heard Refugee make a roaring sound at the other end of the phone line, and he suspected Taiga- to be there..
But she .. was just here!

Right threw down the horn and sped upstairs, towards the upper floor of the HQ..

Really! Why couldn't you have told me to my face?

Left is there anything specific that you find in the streets that you currently find is trash?

Are there any specific speeches that you find offensive?

Any specific people you feel so strongly about that you would walk into a derelict store with a dead owner from nearly two years ago and try to reopen it? Surly it would make great and better business sense to open up your own new and fully functioning store, no? If you are feeling the need to revisit a store that has been closed and left alone for nearly two years id say there are some pretty solid examples of "cleaning up the trash" why dont you shed some light on them? Maybe bring them to light? instead of hiding out in an old and run down store.
