Jason took to the streets to speak about the most talked about event in some time the grand finale of the Seven Deadly Cities tournament, where he would face off against the ever impressive Little Luciano Eleonora_luciano one of the two to beat him and the only person in the tournament to knock him out. Jason knew there were a lot out there that questioned if he could come back and take the win a lot of people didn't expect him to go as far as he had in general as his discipline was in martial arts not karate but here they were arguably the two most surprising people to make it to the finals and there was nothing Jason liked more than proving his doubters wrong.
"Well we're here! This is the end of one of the greatest tournaments our world has ever seen, one that has brought the whole country together in the spirit of competition, and entertainment to see which city could put out the best champion. I don't think when I signed up anyone thought I would get this far, that I'd treat it like a joke but here I am in the finals with arguably the other underdog that people didn't think could make it here. This has been an incredible story like a fairy-tale where two underdogs defy the odds and make it to the finals however very soon one fairy-tale will end and come crushing back to reality while the other will get there happily ever after and all the glory that comes with it. I have no intention of losing, it's not in my nature but Ellie is unlike anyone I've faced she's the only one to have straight up over powered me and knocked me out and I believe she has every intention of doing it again, but that is not what is going to happen this is my time, my time to shine, my time to wipe the stain of my failure from my loss to her away and that is exactly what I will be doing. Lastly I want to thank Marie_Lucania for having faith in me and choosing me as the champion to fight in this great tournament and represent the fine city of Chicago, @Jack_Mezzo for all the time and effort he put into organizing this amazing tournament and running the fights, people like Isabella-Luciano, William_Bowden, and Adonis for opening up the various fighting clubs and venues for us to entertain each and everyone of you, and lastly to every fighter who participated and gave their all for their city and to have honorable fights Draven, NicodemoMangana, Artie_Bucco, Heston, Space-Pole, and of course Ellie. I hope to see each and everyone of you in Detroit for the crowning moment and the ultimate climax of this whole event the final and championship fight will definitely be one of a kind."
Jason took a last look at the crowd before raising his hands and saying "Remember they dim the lights in the ring so you can see me shine." |

Willie limped his way over to Godfather JasonLeeScott as he finished his speech, he turned to the crowd that had gathered and addressed them. "The future champion ladies and gentlemen!" He shouted motioning towards Jason. "See all these bruises? The two black eyes? I can assure you from first hand experience Jason has gotten much stronger and faster since the last time these two met. He has been beating me senseless for practice all week... well he likes to call it 'sparring' but it's usually more of a beat down. Anyways when all this is over I assure you all Jason will be the champion, and then he can finally stop beating his Willie. Added bonus." Willie pulled a pair of sunglasses from his pocket and put them on to cover up his black eyes as he turned and headed back down the street towards the south side of the city. |

Eleonora was wandering through the streets when she heard a familiar and oddly comforting voice. She looked up in curiosity and had to stop a giggle that threatened to bubble up from within her. It was Godfather Jason himself... He was giving some sort of speech it seemed and it intrigued her after an instant... Especially after she heard her name lift from his lips. She smiled warmly even more intrigued even as she stayed to the far outskirts of the street. His bold statements made her heart race. She had never known she would enjoy this whole fighting thing as much as she did. His words were bold but that only made her smile widen. There was something very attractive about confidence. As this thought crossed her mind, she quickly squashed it, biting her lip a little. She had loved dancing with the man but small number of nights prior... But now they were getting ready to engage in a different kind of dance altogether. She listened to his speech in it's entirety only to have another man step up and start talking about training and beating Willies and what have you. She honestly didn't understand half of what he was saying, except that this must have been his training partner. She turned to go smiling lightly to herself, but then she paused and turned getting a surge of bravado that was quite unlike her. Pulling the hood down on the cloak she wore clasped at her throat, she heard a few murmurs as she strode boldly up to stand beside the Godfather in question. "Hello everyone! If I may have another moment of your time... I will not claim that I will be sweeping this tournament and the striking Godfather along with it! This is not a promise I can yet make. This man before you is an awe inspiring fighter and I am honored to get to perform this dance with him yet again." Her eyes glittered with mirth as she spoke, not taking her eyes off Jason for a moment. "It will be a fight to remember ladies and gentlemen. This I will promise. I would like to add my thanks as well to all of those that I've met and interacted and had the pleasure to be trained by and learn from... GavinandTaraByrne, William_Bowden, and of course our dear JackMezzo for making all of this incredible tournament possible. It has been an honor and a pleasure to be Los Angeles' champion and to play my part in this entertainment. I do hope you'll all come out and see us in Detroit!" Her eyes glittered a tad as she finally scanned the crowd about halfway through her little speech before looking back to Jason after she finished hers. "Hope you don't mind my intrusion..." She murmured playfully to him, tilting her head to the side as she surveyed him. "It would seem that at least according to Willie, you are ready. I'd have to agree. It will be very interesting to see how this ends. And I look forward to the last match being with you." |

Jason watched smiling as the Angel of LA Little Luciano came out and addressed the gathered crowd knowing his plan to get her out to promote their upcoming final fight worked, though he didn't take into account how her compliments and just that strange feeling he got whenever he was around Eleonora_Luciano.
"No of course not, I was hoping you'd come out and get some more attention to the fight, you have a way with words almost as well as you do with your fists little one. So are you are you prepared and ready for this? I would be lying if I didn't admit to being a little nervous you've proven to be quite capable of handling yourself both in and out of the ring. I wouldn't have it any other way than to have this last "dance" with you Ellie. |

Artie walked into the departure lounge at Boeing Field and waited patiently. There were times to pull rank and just get put to the front of the queue and fly on demand and there were times to sit back, relax and people watch. Today was people watching Friday. He sat with his ticket for Detroit in his hand and thought back to all his fights. He had especially liked his fight with Jason, it had been the turning point in his fortunes where with a bit more luck he might have triumphed but it was what it was. The memories of the contest would last (at least until the dementia would set in) while the bruises were all but gone now. He would spend a little time on the flight over, thinking about which of the two worthy fighters to back as a winner but it would be hard to pick from either. The call to get on the plane was made, Artie got up and sat in his seat near the front. He liked the legroom and let him do his two favourite things on a plane; have a glass or two of Lagavulin and lean back for a snooze. The plane lifted off, the whisky was drunk and Artie pulled his fedora over his face. Next stop Detroit. |

Her smile widened just a touch as Jason spoke his own honeyed words in her direction. She enjoyed his words, she found, more and more. She chuckled softly as he mentioned that he had hoped she'd come out for some more hype to their match. She nodded, feeling warmth creep into her cheeks. She could weave words occasionally. This proved to add a little irony to this situation, considering she had not said a word during all the fights to this point. She had not been very vocal, much preferring to let her fighting do the talking. Jason, on the other hand, could whip up a crowd with his words. "That's high praise coming from someone of your caliber." She quipped back softly, but it was quite obvious that she was quite pleased indeed. She stepped a little closer as someone bustled by them on the street and she smiled a small bit as he spoke of being a little nervous. "You and me both my friend... It's one thing to meet you once in the ring. I can surprise you once, but I'm certain it won't happen again. Either way you're right. This last 'dance' will be a memorable one. And the sentiment is returned... It just seems... Fitting to be with you." Her eyes continued in their expressive dance as the words leaped from her lips. |

Throughout the tournament I've witnessed many different types of fighters. There are many potential strategies to deploy during the fights, some work well as a "safe" approach, there are some risky methods for those who find themselves with the opportunity to use them, or have the metal to try. Our final two have found a formula that works, however neither are unbeatable. It takes a fighter who can recognise the strategy of others and take steps to dismantle it to become truly successful. I wish both of our fighters the best of luck! |
