| I voted! | Started by: Ecuador on Nov 01, '18 22:50 |

I'm proud yet ashamed to say I voted for the first time in my life today. It is important, so many lives have been lost over history in order for us to have this privilege and yet we still take it for granted. Get out there and vote! |

| I turned in an absentee ballot a week ago. I’m not sure why wifey got them for us, I enjoy the process of going to the polls. | |

Voting is easier than I ever imagined I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. A lot of people I know that have never voted are stepping up this midterm. |

Strongly encourage everyone to vote: people have died for that right, and at some point some of your ancestors may have been denied that right. (Granted, it should be a national holiday as well, but that's a whole other discussion.) |

I was and am proud to have cast my ballot. Regardless of party preference, the right to vote should be exercised by any and all people who can do so. |

It would make since to be a national holiday. I wonder if that would increase turnout or not though. |

I'll b going to the polls nice and early on Tuesday. Hopefully no lines; last time I voted half the machines were broken and I had to go back later in the day because the line was well over an hour long. |

| Very good decision mate! On the other hand, it is also a privilege we have to decide whether we should/want to vote or not. But either way, one should always get her-/himself informed and participate in the discussions etc. | |

Voted early on Thursday - was surprised I had to end up waiting almost an hour to cast a ballot and out of the 3 midterms I've cast a ballot in, I've never seen this many people turn out. Super encouraging, and I hope everybody takes the time to do their part and goes out to vote! |

I get to vote in a few hours. I have also volunteered to assist anyone who needs transportation to the polls. |
