Durdens and the hitlist. Started by: KTI on Nov 02, '18 08:16

I apologize up front because I am going to sound like a whiner.

I don't really know what the entire purpose for having to hitlist Durdens prior to shooting them is. Whatever the logic I am not really concerned about that feature in it's entirety.

The specific issue I have is when scrolling through my locals and I spot a Durden in them... Go to shoot it and the game tells me I can't find them so I need to go through the hitlist process to "find" a target that I could already see. I hope I am making sense.

So I guess my suggestion is if we can see the Durden we are targeting in the locals, we shouldn't have to mess around with the hitlist. It's not like we're relying on the word of the free mapping lady, or standard Durden mapping. It's in my locals. It would be like finding someone to pickpocket or finding live and active targets. You find them and perform the action you desire and that's it.

Like I said, I am sorry if this comes off as super whiny and if there is a reason for the whole hitlist thing (I searched forums and couldn't find much) I would love to know the why that is a thing.

I think that means they are "offline", I just wait for them to come back, I guess. (bolded) I could be wrong though.

Report Post Tip

Basixally the same game mechanics as shooting a real player that is totally inactive. I personally don't see the issue. Tales what? 2/3 seconds/extra clicks.

Also a hitlisting for them is a minimal cost. A cost that's a lot less than an Mia. That's how I'd think of it
