"Do you have any idea on what you have done!? You've launched a fucking war without approval, not to mention that O'Bannion is going to gun for your head like a rabid dog!"

Maria flinched back, her eyes closing as if she was a child who hated to get yelled out, in this situation, she was but a foolish person being talked down to by her Boss. Even though the partnership between Al and The Cordelia Siblings were said to be equal, he had direct contact with Charlie Pavanno and was to carry out his orders, while they did not!

She had found a well of passion deep down inside herself suddenly, she did not like being talked to like this, she was a Cordelia, better yet, she had provided them with more money than possible if the O'Connell Gang won the Irish War, something that she wanted to make sure happened. With Al in her way, there was no way for her to prove to Charlie that she was better than Al, much better.

"Don't you see the opportunity? We have the next Boss of the LA Booze and Distilleries under our thumb! We would make much more money than working with O'Bannion, it is clear as day if you can't see that than you are blind!"

Al looked to the Cordelia woman with a small smile, his eyes held amusement, but also, rage. Although he had pushed it back, knowing that it would not do him any good in allowing his emotions to cloud him as Maria was doing. He sat down in his chair, knowing that he had to get this situation under control and he would, with the help of Vincent Alo, Capo of The Midas Branch of Race St.

"Of course I see it! Only it was not authorized and now, I have to handle it, orders from Charlie himself. He wants O'Bannion to win this war, from there, we are to provide assistance with O'Bannion..."

Al allowed his eyes filled with anger now to stare down at the woman, who wanted to start a war in order to further her own ambitions, it was clever, but also foolish and disruptive. It was only then that Al noticed the odd behavior that Maria was giving off, she was picking at her nails and looking anywhere but at him...

"What did you do!? What in the fuck did you do Maria!?"

Maria stared at Al, he looked nothing like the charismatic man he was in the streets, this was someone else entirely, this was an Acting Boss of notable standing, she looked to the side and spoke in a soft, quivering tone that was unlike the confident tone she held minutes before. 

"I told the O'Connell Gang to strike today, Kaleb will be in control by the day's end...."

Al looked at her with disgust, he could not even form any words, this was the girl that Charlie trusted to run his empire when he was inside and she was destroying with ease, Al nodded though. He could make this work,  but first? He would deal with the rogue in front of him...

"From this day, you are not to have any involvement with our business, finances. Your Brother is to return her also and receive punishment. Inform your father of the peace you broke, from this day, no longer we will be working with the Medellin or Irish Gangs. I will do with the Asians, they will receive some kind of payment, but from here on out, you are done!"

Maria nodded, standing up and walking out, but before she could, Al whispered out to her...

"You should know, the moment he gets out, you should not even be in the states, is that understood? Charlie Pavanno does not deal well with traitors...good luck, Maria Cordelia..."
