I used to ask that a lot. “Want some nose candy pal?” And they always said yes. Every single day of the week. Sometimes twice or three times a day. I didn't care what they did to get the money, as long as it landed my hands in exchange for my candy.
Back in NY I was just a small-time mover. Buying two hundred grams, turning that three times as much with some shit you don't wanna know what it is, and then selling it for twice as much to those who were willing to sell a kidney just to have it. Easy.
I thought I was living the life doing that. But then I moved to Philly and on my first deal I made ten times what I used to make back then in a week. That´s when I understood how much I didn't know about this life.
They were talking a different language around here. And all of a sudden I was shown that like the atmosphere the underworld also has many layers, and I was just wasting time operating in the bottom of it all. With these folks I was being open doors to make moves in places beyond my imagination.
It all started when Joe and Kuklinski agreed on the terms of their arrangement and shook hands. That moment threw things into another level for me. And I remember the exact words on how I was told about it over the phone.
“I sorted the hardest part. Now don't fuck up and make sure you get me the first shipment in Philly in exactly two days. Capisce?”
I well understood the implications of a failure, but I didn't care at the time. The whole thing just sounded as music to my ears. We were dealing with pure coke man. There were no more street deals. We were gonna be wholesalers for the big dogs in the underworld. It was like being awaken, and yet I could only dream of flooding America with cocaine and sleeping in beds made of money.
So I put things in motion. We were using the docks to receive the coke, pack it on a front business of an actual flour company, and transport it in our planes back to Philly. It was as beautiful as hilarious at the same time, to be moving white flour masked as white flour.
To get the first job done I've brought three guys to LA. Charlie__Pavanno, Viscorio and DustyKid.
