Now why was Valentine killed? Because she defended her crew leader. When shots were fired she had more balls than some of the men, only some mind you, and fired back. Unfortunately Mr. Axe does not think this is a valued quality. Would he expect for his crew to defend him? That is why I died he killed my husband and my crew leader. I fought back. I do not usually do not talk out in the streets due to the fact that I value respect, but on this I feel a need to speak my piece. RIP Oliver, you died with honor when Axe is dead it will be without. |

If one is defending their boss, they are a threat to their boss's attacker. Whatever reason the attacker has to attack one's boss, one is a threat to him. Therefore, the attacker says "You must die." Why is this so hard to understand? We live in a world based on crime, cheating, lying, and scamming our way to the top. You think Valentine should get a pass because Valentine was an active participant in a war?? NO! Stop the whining! We are criminals! We CHOSE this life. A life that could end at any moment. Life is not fair! That is the most basic lesson someone is taught in their childhood, yet so many of these so called goombas, wiseguys, hitmen and women have not grasped it. I just don't understand and it boils my blood to hear someone crying about an unfair death. Waaaaaaaaah! Here's a tissue. |

I just feel that the way I died was wrong, and I may be new to the game and have a lot more to learn, and I will. I have died before and always agreed to the cause of it. This I feel was unjustified and that is all I am saying. | |

How have you died before and then risen from the dead? Do you have some supernatural powers or ties with the occult! It is not your words that make my blood boil. Your words are pathetic. It's the fact that someone like you, with a room temperature I.Q. is breathing the same oxygen as me. |

Any time you are an active participant in a war, you should expect to die if you are on the losing side. Sometimes those who never fire a shot are allowed to live, unless they are considered a threat or hold a high rank. This is the the most peaceful policy imaginable regarding war. A more harsh policy, which has been used often, is the "scorched earth" method, which requires every member of the losing family to die with their Boss. You should not feel cheated that your mother died, but happy that she died defending her family. It is the best way to die. It beats the hell out of dying in your sleep, being shot by a rogue for no reason at all, or being one of the first killed in a war so that you don't get the opportunity to fight back. Pick up the pieces and start a new life. Be happy that your mother died the best possible way there is to die. |

If you do not care what we think then there is no need for you to come to the streets. The response to your whining isnt going to be "Oh my god you're totally right!!" If you were shooting at Signore Axe or his family he will shoot back, as would any other mentally stable person. |

one question guys. Why the hell does it matter? innocents die daily, all crews will be destroyed in time, a death is a death. Deal with it and move on. The fact of the matter is she/ he does not agree with the way he/she died, we all do, do we not? So let her/him ramble and whatnot because there is nothing we can do. Geoffry666 |

| I will no longer reply to the posts after this so have fun with all your trash talk I have not expected to get an "Oh my God your so right" other wise I would not have posted in the streets and I have never done so before. The reason I have posted is not because I care, but I do know few people who do, and would like to know the reasons of my "mother's" death. This is for them. Attempting to defend your family is very, very honorable. Good job to your ancestor. However, someone else, also acting on the same basis of honor fired at her. They hit. They were a bit more honorable than her, it seems. |

This is not a huge waste of time. This is a chance for elder mafiosi to explain to a new immigrant what happens during wars and the life cycle of a mobster. It could have been a civilized discussion. If you verbally attack a person, you can expect them to get defensive and attack back. This is what happened here. So, instead of taking an opportunity to explain things to someone who probably hasn't experienced war before, a few of you decided to be pricks, thereby discouraging someone from participating in street discussion. Well done. |

Somehow, this new lady feels she knows how things are run around here. She's been around the block a few times. it makes me laugh that the original poster claims to "not care what people think" yet they posted this in the streets, if you didnt care what others thought you would have mailed johnny directly let's chalk this one down to experience val and you be on your merry way out of here =) blood boil? mine's not even lukewarm after reading this, it was comical =) |

Val did message me directly about the incident and I explained to her the reasons why her mother died, which some of you have highlighted here already. I don't understand why there was also the need for this speech, though. Yes, it was honorable for your mother to try and defend her family, but in doing so she shot at a member of mine. As the safety of my family is important to me, I will not tolerate shots taken at it--no matter the cause. I hope you are able to understand why this was. |
