Peace was a funny thing...  It only worked when all parties were willing for it to work.  Once a chink or hesitation was found in this willingness, it took but one bullet to bring it shattering down like glass, or ice...  Beautiful and desirable to the eye, but one harsh touch could bring it crumbling down.  Peace was a wonderful thing, but often it was as fanciful as a design made from spun sugar.  Beautiful but melts away with little effort.  But this depressing fact is not where this story ends...

Where there is death and the breakdown of peace, there is also new life and new possibilities.  It was funny how life had a way of continuing on despite the death of individuals...  This was something that was observed by one young being...  Now many had come and gone in this crazy whirlwind of the criminal underground...  Sweet people, scheming people, evil people, good people...  It was all a matter of time and perspective.  For who to themselves and those they cared about were evil or bad?  And who's to say that one who was once your friend and compatriot couldn't be your enemy the next day?  It was the way of this crazy world yet it kept on moving despite what happened.

Today this fact was observed by one of the smallest of furred creatures.  It was likely that it wouldn't earn a second glance from those around her but with the recent passing of the two leg she had deemed worthy of her love, she now took to the streets.  Tiny in form her long body was carried on four tiny paws.  Her fur was well kept and well groomed, dark and striped in color save for a strange little pair of white markings along her shoulder blades. These marks looked oddly as wings might, no matter how odd they seemed on the tiny mammal.  Her eyes glittered a dark amber brown and whether it be your imagination or not, it seemed that those soft expressive eyes understood more than one might think such a simple mind can grasp.  Itty bitty in stature, but playful in nature, it was time to see this life from a new perspective and it was just what one tiny creature intended to do.  One would only have to wait and see just how this went but one thing was for sure...  It was going to be awesome.
