The Golden Grin: The Plan | Started by: Charlie__Pavanno on Nov 22, '18 17:25 |
South Philly - The Policy Charlie sat at his office desk, he was waiting for his partner and supposed friend, after their meeting at her weaponry shop, they had not talked for a while. Only he had left her with the name, Golden Grin and had been done with it, knowing that he would contact her when she was ready for it, or when he saw that she was ready, otherwise, he would do it alone. He knew that she was close and he decided that it would be time, they would plan the job and have everything ready. He knew what was needed, he had the crew and cars, he just needed to sort through a couple things before truly getting started with this heist. He sighed, looking at the clock, knowing that she was always late in some way or another. "Well, at least she keeps up her stellar timekeeping..." He grinned, before taking a sip of a bottle of Scotch Whiskey that sat next to him, he had refused the glass and instead opted for the more...heavier version. He was not drunk and possibly would not be for a while, he had a very-high alcohol intake, knowing his past, he knew when to stop, hence the advice of his now dead friend. "Heh, Father, how your alcoholism affects me as well. I find it a blessing that I have never laid a hand on a woman, while intoxicated as you have with mother. It really puts things into view..." Charlie took another swig, enjoying the burning feeling as he stood up and walked to the board he set up, everything was about ready. He just needed her to be ready and things would go smoothly, he heard a cough come from the door and turned his head to notice his beautiful friend, with a smirk he welcomed her... "Well, you and your timekeeping has not changed since I went inside...good to know some things never change, yet people do..." There it was again, the jab that Charlie threw and he knew what he was doing, trying his best and hardest to bring that out of her, whatever it was he saw. He needed that here in the heist, otherwise, they would be doomed and more so, go to prison, something he was not going to allow TwoB to suffer as he did... |

TwoB made her way in front of Charlie's office after finishing some business down in Vegas and getting things ready on her part, things didn't go smoothly at first but luckily for her with the right push and the right influence it all went well. |

Charlie took another swig of the bottle, drowning her out, knowing that she was going to try her best in getting to him. There friendship or...whatever it was had been strained since his return from the gate as he called it, he had stopped drinking enough to hear the end part of her stating that he reeked of Alcohol. He looked down to the bottle and back to the woman in front of him, he had a teasing grin, before laughter came from his lips like he used a microphone. "Well Darling, I do have a bottle of scotch in my hands and perhaps that would explain why I smell of alcohol, heh, you should stop hanging out with those Vegas Types, they are depleting you of your precious knowledge..." He chuckled, knowing how much she valued her knowledge, it was one of the things that he relied on her for, now? Not so much, he doubted that she would help him solve a math's problem if money was not involved, hence why she was getting a big cut and why he was making sure that he handpicked the crew, most of the recycled bunch from the Jewel Heist, with one new guy... "Heh, you do look beautiful though, perhaps Vegas does you some good in terms of dress sense, God knows that you did not have the best in Detroit...Speaking of which, neither did I." Either Charlie purposefully let that slip out to continue the odd game of teasing, or he was getting intoxicated and due to his high tolerance, it was most likely the former before he moved his eyes back to the board and eyed the big bold words, 'GOLDEN GRIN CASINO' "You've got everything ready right? This is going to be the first step in a very mighty plan, something that is going to be making headlines and yet, I do not doubt that you will be okay with that..." |

TwoB wasn't the argue type person yet she always found herself arguing with Charlie due to his intersting way of doing things |

"Are you really trying to go there TwoB? I am drinking because its fun, not to drink my problems away and the only problem I see is you. The fact that you can't let personal business stay personal and business, the true business, stay business. I am not going to respond, but seeing as you intend to stand there and talk about my drinking, how about you and your impeccable timekeeping? What do you actually do when I am here, waiting?" Charlie waited, wondering if he was going to get an answer, but instead, she had moved on to talk about her dress, the very dress that he felt was quite alluring on her. Even though he would never say that out loud, knowing that would possibly place him in a rather difficult situation, he turned back to face the board. Only then she stated that he might not be as super as he thought, with a grin, he turned on his heel and tilted his head. "Heh, so that must mean, at one point, you wanted me to notice you in that dress, is that correct? Well, I did say that it is very nice on you unless you want me to continue raining compliments down on your person like you were some kind of queen. Which I can assure you, is not the case and never will be. So, how about you stop smoking the Vegas Weed and focus on the job, eh?" Just as he turned to face the board, he had finally gotten on an answer to the question that he asked before and was very glad for that, because this back and forth was grating on his nerves and soon, he was going to implode. Only once he heard the answer, he knew that he regretted it, there she went again, intentionally provoking, for some reason, she wanted a fight and he wondered why. What had he done? He did know, but he was intending to find out... "YES! The plan is fine and ready, there is nothing wrong with it! What the heck is your problem, huh!? Why are you so intent on starting a fight? It's like you want me angry for some reason, why!?" He turned on his heel once more and walked a few steps towards her, invading her personal, his eyes blazing with fury, wondering what in the hell he did to make her hate him, sure, he went to prison and had changed. Yet, he still maintained himself...she wanted this. She wanted him angry, for some reason, she wanted him to show emotion, any emotion would do, yet he was showing anger and why did she want that so much? |

He smiled thinly, watching her with a smirk before his eyes sweep the room and went back to the board with such speed that one would have thought that he simply blinked and the room was in his mind. He sighed, before scratching his chin in thought, knowing that business before with TwoB had been very lucrative, perhaps it could be that way again, he knew his other business could survive and so, he stuck out his hand and shook hers. Almost feeling the excitement that came off of her. "Fine, I am in, you know the plan and I'll be ready to contact you soon, regarding the details, but also, that shortsword, well, I will have it. Considering it is a fine piece of art that should with a true wielder." He grinned, before turning back to the board, allowing TwoB to leave, should she wish it, knowing that she probably wanted to talk more business, but that was not on the agenda, for now, considering that they had discussed what there was to discuss. He continued to watch the board, knowing that his partner was still watching, leaving him to assume that they still had much to discuss, only then he heard her footsteps. He sighed, wondering how much had he changed from his time inside. "It's for the best Charlie, just remember that." |
