The day was gloomy looking like it was going to rain.  there was no sun light and the city seemed light on traffic.  John-Dillinger and his crew were waiting around the corner in his all black sedan.  The vehicle consisted of Dillinger his partner in crime John Hamilton and Russell Clark.  This plan has been in the making for months now and it now came time to execute it precisely.   Dillinger was a perfectionist, he needed everything to be done timely and according to plan.  The trio grab their fire power and head toward the bank.

Two Years prior

John was sentenced to 2 years in the cook county jail in Chicago Illinois.  He was caught holing up a convenient store.  he was not the type to hurt anyone just for the fun of it, he always liked to walk away without committing any assaults.  on this specific night it did not go as planed.  By himself Dillinger walked into the convenient store carrying a 9mm Springfield pistol.  he walked right up to the clerk.

"You can either be a dead hero or a live coward!"

pointing the barrel of the handgun directly at the mans forehead, the clerk decided to open the drawer and start to hand the cash over to John.  while stuffing the cash into his satchel John heard a clanking noise behind him.  he could have swore the place was empty before he came in, he had been scoping it out for hours watching people go in and out.  He flicked his head around to see who it was.  that's when he seen the cat jumping off of one of the newspaper racks.  When he turned back to the guy he was making a run for it heading toward the back door.  Instead of just leaving John followed him sending a bullet through the back of the mans right calf.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?  Its not your money do you really want to die over it?"

The clerk whimpered in pain.  shaking his head he looked back into Johns face.  John thought the face looked familiar but he just couldn't but a name to it.  He picked the guy up by the collar of his shirt and brought him over to the stores safe located in the back office.  the man swore he didn't know the combination but Dillinger smacked him in the skull with the pistol until he seemed to make a very good guess.  Once the safe was open he began to pack the money into his black leather bag.  Then came the trouble.  

"POLICE GET ON THE GROUND!'

John was caught in the act of armed robbery.  he surrendered his pistol and put his hands behind his back.  Once he was brought into custody is where he met his partner in crime John Hamilton.  Hamilton already had a solid crew put together that knew how to take a pinch if anyone was to get caught.  the two began to plan a heist out in Las Vegas seeing that they were getting released from custody around the same time as one another.  But Dillinger knew that eventually he would end up back here. After all in this line of work you have to expect that, so he began looking the place over and identifying the rotations of guards and shift changes just for future references.  Once released the plan was in action.

"Alright boys its time to go make a withdrawal!"
