Walking through the busiest streets of Philly, Isabella tries to avoid bumping into people as best as she can. She dodges, ducks, and zigzags along the sidewalk. All she wants is to reach the kiosk where the best newspapers are sold. Isabella grabs the Goofy Timesnewspaper and heads into cafto have a nice cup of coffee while reading the paper. One of the stories in the paper makes her laugh so much that surrounding patrons were curious of what she was reading. The story reads as follows. Two Australian robbers thought they were hauling away a big sack of cash from the Cuckoo Restaurant, but it turned out to be bread rolls — and one of them accidentally shot the other in the buttocks during the heist. Benjamin Jorgensen, 38, and his accomplice Donna Hayes, 36, were sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to robbing the restaurant in the southern Australian city of Melbourne on April 1 last year. During the April Fools Day holdup, Jorgensen grabbed what he believed was a bag with the Cuckoo's daily take of about U.S. $26,000 in cash, but later found it was full of bread rolls, the Victorian County Court heard. He also fired his gun accidentally during the heist, shooting Hayes in the buttocks. Judge Roland Williams told the robbers they were a "pair of fools," before sentencing Hayes to eight years in prison and Jorgensen to seven. Earlier this week, defense lawyer Greg Thomas said Jorgensen had been under the influence of drugs at the time, had made a full admission to police and was remorseful, News Ltd. newspapers reported. She finishes reading the story, takes a sip of her coffee and says. That sucks. They are going to jail for stealing bread. HA! She leaves the paper in the cafand continues on her day. |

Lost Priest woke up early for a week day, about noon. And decided to go get some waffles at the cafdown the street When he got to the cafhe found himself a booth and got a cup of coffee and ordered a waffle. As he was waiting for his breakfast to be cooked he pulled out a flask and added a little Irish to his cup. Seconds went by and still no food, He was about to complain when he noticed a newspaper under his table. The Goofy Times Strange name for a newspaper but what the hell. He opened randomly to the middle and found an article entitled. "Dog saves lady's purse" a look of horror came across The Priests face. "Yesterday an oddly dressed man attempted to steal a woman's purse. Just as the man was about to go down an alley a dog jumped up and bit him in the ass. Witnesses say it was a hilarious struggle between the dog and the man, the dog latching on and the man attempting to perform something many described as a angry exorcism with the man attempting to beat the dog off with a cross he had in his pocket." The Priest could remember that demon in dog's skin, if only he had given the dog a treat before tried to nab that purse. "The struggle finally ended went the cloth of the suspects clothes riped and the suspect threw the purse into the dogs mouth and ran off" Lost Priest took out his black marker and covered the article so no one else could read it, threw the paper back on the ground and ate his waffle and left |
