| The Wilted Wildflower, A New Life Story | Started by: Willow on Nov 22, '18 12:55 |

The days were sunny lately outside of the city in the countryside. Breezy and away from the area, the wildflowers grew. The isolation the small countryside town where everyone was close and friendly. A small white church stood between the country town and a wildflower field. Willow watched the wildflowers dance in the breeze of the country side, whenever she was feeling down. Her life was honest and decent as she was part of a religious family. Not minding that she knew the city was cruel from stories she had been told from when she was nothing more then a little girl. She feared crowds, feared attention, and the unknown. The town she lived in was enough for her, no big crowds, everyone knew one another, but that would all change. One day, a man stopped by, on his way to the city. Willow was just returning from the field behind the church, after a day visiting the wildflowers she loved so much. Her father greeted her at the door, telling her they would be having company for the night. She gave a small nod, "Of course father." She introduced herself to the man with a warm smile. "My name is Willow." She waited for a answer but received nothing more then a deep breath of irritation and a cold stare. There was something about the man, he had a cold gaze, barely spoke, and would not give his name to those willing to let him use their home for the night. So, Willow called him "Mister" when she had to speak with him. Occasionally trying to speak with the mysterious man, but only to get no answer from him. She was fed up by then so she went to speak with her parents, "Why did you allow him to stay?" No answer from her mother and father either, tension building and lingering in the air. It came off strange to her, as they normally told her everything. Was it the stranger? She turned looking back at the main room where the man sat staring at the fireplace. Looking back she smiled, "Alright, I will go get ready for dinner." She went to go wash her hands. Around the dinner table it was quiet, she was the first to finish eating before putting her plate in the sink and exiting the house to the porch. Her parents got the answer as to where the man was headed, he told them to the big city. Willow continued to stand outside before heading back inside the house, straight to her room. Getting changed into her old sundress she used now as a nightgown. Slipping into bed for the night and drifting off to sleep. That night was quiet, she dreamed of the field of flowers she visited everyday. Sitting in the field she was fine, she loved the sights of day. The church was between it and the town so she stood up, went back to town. Smiling happily as she went back home. Her mother and father were always there waiting, which was nice as she never left the town. But that man... the nameless man stood there with a crooked grin. The sky turned gray in that moment, and all went dark. She sat up rubbing her eyes, she heard footsteps in the house during the dead of the night. Getting up she went out of her room to go see what was happening. Making it to the living room she saw her mother and father together, her father held her mother. The look of fear in their eyes as the man was standing holding something in their hand. "Sir put it down please..." Silence. "Sir please dont do this..." Silence from the man still. Her mother started crying and thats when her father asked "What about Willow?" The man spoke in a gruff voice. "Dont worry" There was the sound of a gun going off two times, her parents fell to the ground, in each others arms. Willow wide eyed let out a loud scream, the man turned to see her in a panic. She turned, running and trowing the door open, she had to get away. She ran tripping as she took off towards the field. This was all a dream? She thought it was ... if it was it was a nightmare. She collapsed tripping over a root and hitting her head off of a stone, her vision blurry she blacked out. The mans feet was seen in front of her before she went to black. Willow woke up some time later, head hurting, bound and gagged looking around she saw the man. Her body shaking, not expecting to be alive, but not expecting this to be reality. She was asking herself simple questions, Why? Why did he do this? Questions that may never be answered. I need to run... I need to escape. She thought but for now she was alone, waiting till the ride comes to a stop. She closed her eyes pretending to still be unconscious. It was the best she could do until they reached the destination. As the car came to a stop, the doors open. She was pulled out and thrown over a mans shoulder where she opened her eyes and struggled until she kneed the man in the face. Suddenly thrown at the ground she was winded, one man laughed and undid the ties on her laughing taking the gag from her the man who she kneed, spoke with a bloody nose. "This one got fight in her. Here is the deal, you win, you leave. You lose, you die." She stood up catching her breath, balling her fists up she was given the first swing which connected with the mans jaw. But that was the only hit she got in. She took his punches, hitting the ground bloodied and bruised. He stopped down on her chest causing a broken pained scream as her rips broke. Trembling, the man moved his foot, lifting her up by the neck and grabbing her arm. She felt him move it in a direction a arm should not move, causing it to dislocate. She let out another scream, the pain was enough. She let her head fall to the side blacking out again due to the pain. "Well she is no use." He dropped her to the ground, telling two of the other men to dump her somewhere and leave her. "Park here in Manhattan should work, do not get caught." She was dropped in the grass of the park, being late in the day no one would be around. She opened her eyes seeing the grass, she let out a wheezed breath and cough. Closing her eyes she could not move, it hurt to much as her tears fell into the grass. She could just die peacefully here, at least free, and rejoin her mother and father elsewhere. Thinking of home, and the wildflowers, she wanted so badly to go home, and for this lay to be nothing but a dream. Hours later she regained consciousness, the blood was dried up, she hurt all over, broken ribs, a lump from the rock on her head, and dislocated arm she stood up. The night was lightly raining, sending a chill through to her bones as she held her arm and limped through the grass. Once on the sidewalk she held her arm tight to her body. She stepped off the sidewalk to the asphalt with her bare feet. The rain picking up, she saw a light forming so she turned her head slowly. Unable to move due to the pain, she could only welcome the trucks lights. There was nothing for her to return to. And unable to move, she closed her eyes, feeling like time had stopped. She heard her parents voice in the back of her mind, "You could have a better life, so why stop". There was the sound of breaks being heavily applied, screeching as it slowed but still connecting with her body. She felt the impact hitting the ground and rolling not far from where the truck stopped where she was previously. Pain shot through her body, she sat in the darkness, her dream of being home, not hurt and seeing her mother and father were right there. Like everything had gone back to normal, sitting in the field of flowers her mother and father stood behind her, watching. |

Roper rode alongside Danny after the two of them had a small meeting in the Clubhouse and needed to catch up with Cowluh and the rest of the club on the current run. The Journey was rather uneventful until he saw a car collide into a woman up ahead of them. He saw the car swerve and collide right into her midsection and then crumple on the floor. |

Danny looked upon the scene with initial shock, before shaking his head at being called to action by Roper. He looked at the girl crumpled down on the ground, luckily they had some extra room in the Clubhouse, and Cowluh, despite being a total bitch, had successfully obtained the needed medical supplies. He reaches into his kutte and pulls out a flask, taking a long swig and returning it to his position. He walks over towards the man, lighting a cigarette as he approaches. "Bitch move there, mate. Looks like it's your lucky day though. Cops could have easily rolled up instead of us. Oh wait. Maybe it isn't your lucky day. Guess you'll see." Danny grabbed the man by the scruff of the neck and lifted him off the ground, before dragging him to his bike and wrapping a few chains around his legs and attaching them to the back of his bike. He looks back to make sure Roper is sufficiently distracted before speeding off down the road. After dragging the man over a mile he reaches an old drop off spot and fixes the silencer to his gun. He checks to make sure the man is breathing before firing a shot directly between his eyes and tossing him in the container. He dusts himself off, returns the chains to his bike, and races off back to Roper. How about it Boss, is she going to be okay? He looks down at the young woman with concern, before looking back to Roper. |

Willow lay unconscious her body crumpled on the ground from being hit, she wondered if she could go like this. Her mother and father would be waiting on the other side for her. She sat in the field before wondering why she felt no pain. Sunny days, it was nice to be back she thought before turning her head and slowly getting to her feet. She looked seeing a smaller version of herself running around with a flower crown she had made and putting it on her mothers head. A dream she questioned wondering when she fell asleep. Looking around she saw a shadow of a man with a menacing smile, she was frozen still. The man, looked similar to the one who ruined her life but this man, his features were blurred. She saw his mouth move not making out the words as they sounded like white noise. The man stood still in the field, before calling out to her directly. Telling her not to go to the light, to wake up. She sat in the flower field wondering what he was talking about. She closed her eyes tight before opening them slowly. She could not move feeling like a dead weight had been dropped on her as she opened her eyes a sliver staring at the asphalt with blurry eyes. Wondering why she was on the ground, why she felt like she was barely holding on. Her vision slowly blacking back out, she made a small sound of pain at least able to tell she could not move she forced herself to keep her eyes open, breathing heavily and shallow. She could taste iron like a copper penny lingering in her mouth as she let out a chocked breath she coughed violently till she spit up the blood. Laying still the pain felt the pain through her body, with no energy to move herself off the road. |

Roper hadn't noticed Danny leave as he tended to the woman in front of him. Roper knew shit all about Medicine except for those things he learned on the job in his early years. Roper frowned at the collapsed woman, The way her arm was looking liked the bone was coming out of the skin. She probably wouldn't survive the night but from the looks of it, Roper could tell she had some fight in her. |

Roper thought quick on his feet and motioned to Danny to grab the car the man had left behind. Convenient considering he wouldn't be using it anymore. Roper laid Willow down in the back of the car, sprayed across the two back seats. He quickly checked her vitals again and confirmed that was still breathing. |

Willow felt the pain of being moved and placed into a vehicle laying in the back where she was placed. Her vitals were as fine as she could be with everything that had happened. Her eyes fluttered open and closed on occasion before shutting them with a painful groan. With the ride being so quick she just could not tell what was happening... She was not tied up, at least thats what she knew, she heard nothing really other then some chatter between two men in her half conscious state.. Scared, in pain, and confused, doors shutting and the car moving, she breathed shallow when they stopped and got out checked once more, she got moved. Time went by, who knows how long she was out, maybe a day or two before she could be considered stable but she turned her head with a groan opening her eyes to slivers staring at a ceiling, where the fuck was she? |

Roper was met with a scowl when he opened the passenger side door. The woman must have woken up in the midst of the journey, Her eyes bloodshot and full of fear. He put both his arms up in an attempt to prove to the woman that he wasn't a threat. "Relax miss, I ain't the one who's done you, I was the one who found you on the street. I'm trying to get you some help" He tried to explain. |

Willow stared at the man, the pain was what woke her from the dark. She was comfortable on the backseat of the truck, her head she turned slightly trying to see what she was looking at, where she was. Her lips parted as she let out a painful groan, her good arm moving slightly to figure out what exactly happened while out. She glared, as he tried helping her up she could hardly move herself let alone stand on her two feet. She started to relax as she felt her eyes roll back and shut, light headed and unconscious once more. She thought she was still awake, that time in her mind had froze her mind seemed to just break as she watched the shadows devour the trees, flowers and the people around. What was happening was she still awake? Maybe, she knew she was too weak to move even if it was not a dream, she feared being left for dead again. |
