Several cars pull up to the square you happen to be waling through at the time and out jumps numerous sailors in uniform herding the people standing around the square into a crowd and hastily putting up various decorations while other quickly erect a stage. A black gentleman with a short afro and and a large moustache sets up a bar next to stage and begins stocking it with various liquors.

After several hectic minutes a final car pulls up. The driver gets out and opens the back door. Out steps Captain_Stubing. He waves to the stunned and confused crowd and makes his way to the stage stopping to shake the hands of various sailors as he thanks them for their congratulations. Finally he makes his way up on the stage waving and nodding to an audience that stands in stunned silence.

Ladies and gentlemen...

It's been a long and perilous journey on this Love Boat of ours. Many thought they would never see this day come but I am here to announce that the Big Easy just got a little bigger. Another goal has been reached in New Orlean's efforts to build this thing of ours and take it to new heights.

Today I am here to announce that I have taken the position of Godfather of New Orleans!

There is a humming among the crowd and one solitary boo cries out. Several sailors quickly converge on the man who booed and drag him out of the square.

This journey began in Philadelphia under Godfather Gwarble and, when he was gunned down, I found myself fighting with Roman to preserve what was left of the Philadelphia regime. During that war Roman took over as Godfather of Chicago and I stayed on in Chicago. When my Crew Leader at the time died of a gun malfunction, Godfather Roman tapped me to take over the crew. It wasn't long after that Roman was attacked. Now Roman being the survivor he is made it through this war with a little help from the Captain and New Orleans now found itself without a leader. So Godfather Roman decided to send me out to take the rudder of the city and help in the rebuilding efforts. Without men like Roman and Gwarble I would not be standing here today.

I'm not going to stand here and claim to have big plans for the city of New Orleans. I do but rather than trumpet those ideas only to have them fall flat and make me look like a waste of space I will simply tell you that I will continue to work hard to make New Orleans a great place to visit and a better place to conduct business. I'd like to remind everyone to please visit out lovely casino and enjoy our numbers games and horse racing.

Now on to more business...

It is customary for a new Godfather to announce and auth to take the reigns of his crew. I am anything but customary however. So today I announce two auths. Two men who have served me well both in Chicago and subsequently in New Orleans. They have worked hard in building new business opportunities and in helping to manage inside the crew. Ladies and gentlemen, please give a big hand to the newest leaders of New Orleans, Ancalagon and Quoth_the_Raven.

The crowd erupts in applause and the Captain points and smile as various people in the crowd as he waits for the applause to die down.

These two men along with Derek will form my triumvirate and will all lead as one under me.

It's time for me to get back to the business of New Orleans but before I do have to thank a couple of people. TheresaRusso, my right hand woman, and her mother before her Luki. Closer and Whatsername as well as Gwarble and Roman who I mentioned earlier. I thank you for all your help and guidance and hard work. Without each of you I would not be standing here today as Godfather of New Orleans.

The Captain throws his hands in the air as one of the sailors behind him throws a cape over the Captain's shoulders. The crowd erupts in delight as a band strikes up. The Captain walks back towards the car shaking the many hands outreached toward him. He gets into the back of the car and the crowd cheers as it slowly drives off.

Congratulations on completing *the* most difficulty journey our line of work has to offer.  This is a monumental task, and I sure applaud your achievement.

I've said it already in private, but by god im delighted to announce it to the streets! Congrats Captain. A truly fine achievment and one thats well deserved.

Oh and excuse me for forgetting.. Congrats also to Quoth and Ancalagon, well deserved step up for them both. Two of the hardest working men i've had the pleasure to work with.

Whyskers meows loudly and seems to be like she is talking away, but then realizing no one could under stand her she stood up on her hind legs and clapped her paws together over and over. Then placing a note with rather large letters she read it with even louder meowing.

Congrats! It has been an honor working under you and always will be! I was looking forward to this day and now that it is here I couldn't be more happier for you!

A monumental day for New Orleans and its folks.  Our fair Captain has etched his name with those who came before him as Godfather.  I cannot think of a more deserving person than he.  May his hard work serve as proper guidance for all and that he will continue to lead his fleet the best he knows how.

I could not forget to mention Quoth and Ancalagon in their time of glory either.  Both of these men have worked with my ancestors rather closely and have gained nothing but respect from myself.  I am looking forward to working for Ancalagon and helping him achieve everything that he should desire.

This is a great day for New Orleans. Congratulations to you Godfather Stubing! I know you will make the residents and visitors of New Orleans very happy with your reign as Godfather.

While on business in the fine city of New Orleans Sho walks by and sees a large crowd gathering. Soon after a man that he has seen many times before graces the impromptu stage and begins shouting. Sho moves closer to try to hear what all the ruckus was about. After The Captain finished his speech Sho makes his way through the crowd to The Captain and shakes his hand.

Congratulations Captain! All your hard work and dedication have proved to be more prevalent today than the day my Grandfather and his father ever told of your father and grandfather. Many wishes of continued success.

Congratulations on finally making it Boss. Its been a long... every so long... hard struggle, but you finally made it. Thank you for the chance you gave me and my Family line all those months ago, and the chance you have given me now to further prove my worth to you.

Here's to the New, New Orleans, and the brightest of futures.

It's good to see another Godfather join the ranks.  Captain Stubing has worked incredibly hard to attain this honor and I'm most happy to see him here.  He has been a dedicated worker to his city and to his members.  He was authed into an impossible situation, and made sure to never look back.  He is a benchmark for all to be weighed against when you talk about the ability to survive and lead under extreme circumstance.

I hope everyone in New Orleans appreciates how lucky they are to be under the leadership of Mr. Stubing.  And, to hold up my end of what I said in his auth speech upon his ascension to Godfather, New Orleans is his to do with as he pleases now.  No longer are Chicago and New Orleans tied to one another except through the friendships formed and any business partnerships myself and Captain Stubing have now and in the future.  It is his city, and it couldn't be in more capable hands.
