I would find the best way to manage both any; Economic issues & social issues equally. Not saying money is everything, but it sure makes people work together or against each other haha.

Start a war with Iran after "their hackers" compromised one of our nuclear weapons. I would then appoint special prosecutors to investigate any members of congress who are against me. I would then start slowly having the CIA and NSA take over all news stations, and have said prosecutors charge CEO's in them with crimes to install those that would support me in their place. After the 1 year mark of being president, I would then suspend all elections due to massive electoral fraud being planned by my opponents. I would then create a 1 party system, and then let someone else take the role as president as I would just rule through them.

Make reaction videos on youtube, earn all the internet money.

Build a new palace. Invite Megan Fox or Scarlett Johansson (or both) for a tour in the new presidential residence.

Depends on the country, really. if USA or any nuke power country, I'd wait until I'd get the suitcase. Any other country, depends on my mood, to be fair, but look over the laws and start to change those that protect the criminal and law braking citizens. 

If I were to become president of the United States, I would move back to Denmark and bring Cowluh with me so we can live together! <3
