| Automated district events. | Started by: Squishy on Dec 02, '18 18:12 |

There are certain things a city/district should do to protect its own interests, when it lets itself fall to pieces through lack of accountability or lack of administration, an outside force will be tempted to fill the void and take over. When a crew has too many no-contacts, the game will automatically spawn a district event in that district to attempt to take over. If you do not go there, you can not be hurt. If you have no BGs, you can not be hurt. They only shoot at forts and BGs. If the problem is not corrected internally, then district events may spread to neighboring districts. |

These are just like the new district NPCs in the way that you have to drop their BGs down to a certain level before you can kill its owner. |

When a new user starts off, they use the job board. In order to be listed on the job board, a crew must meet certain criteria, for example, a sponsor has to be online, active, and have toggled his Sponsorship to On for that session letting the game know hes waiting for a 'fish on the line'. When that new user does 3 jobs for the same crew, that crew's sponsor that is active is notified that the new user has done 3 of their jobs and is now waiting to be contacted. A sponsor would then contact them, or fire them. (Stop that user from seeing any more jobs from their crew) A no-contact is when that sponsor, who turned on his sponsorship for that login session, was active before the job, during the job, and has been active after the job and after they were notified that the new user is waiting for their contact, but did not fire the new user, or contact them. If 30 minutes goes by since they were notified, and they have been active after they were notified, it marks them as a no-contact, it then sends them/their crewleader an additional notification that the new user waiting for the contact was ignored, it then toggles off that sponsors status so that future jobs applicants are not mislead until that sponsor is ready to toggle it back on. The crew chat is notified of this, the sponsor is notified of this, and the CL has a page made for them to monitor their sponsors no contacts so that they see whats going on. |

| This is interesting, but how about also spawning this in districts that aren't doing growing. Like say this that started a gf crew in the main district and sent the captain off the grow the other district. I see 2 crews that have been sitting in the main district operating just a gf crew. One hasn't even attempted to start a second crew and the other did but in a huge fashioned failure. Would be nice to see this loam over them if they continue to not make an attempt at progress. | |
