All Howard can hear is: stop moaning,stop crying,stop debating. What the fuck is wrong with everyone? Apart from the minority. Do you not understand without debates and moaning we cant be human? So i propose to the people of this world that we bring in a new law a law which states that if you tell someone to go away and stop crying or something to that affect you are killed regardless of rank or family,this is merely a suggestion as other wise we will go around in cricles and not get anywhere! |

Okay. I'm actually going to bite and debate in this secretive debate. Why do I not like Debating? Because, it is overused, perhaps if one of the 800 same old debates would work then we could quit. Frankly they are not going to. Someone dies in a war. 40 Debates pop-up on how we should stop wars. There are no wars in 2 months. 70 Debates appear about how we should have more Wars. A person is killed by his Leader for passing information to another Family. A debate comes around on if you think this Leader is bad. These are crying debates. They are just not needed and yet they are the most popular. Stop these Debates and i'm happy. |

Well, I'm sure you already know that I would be in 100% agreement with you Howard. I can't imagine living in a world without it though, and if anything positive can be said for the flipside of this argument, I'd say that at least it's a consistent argument. "I don't like this." "Quit crying." "I'm not crying." "Yes, you are." This accusation and our world go together like peas and carrots. As much as you may not like eating your vegetables, I suppose it's unavoidable in this thing of ours. |

| The idea of punishing one for insulting another in a debate is a good one, I believe. But, it should be common knowledge of respect, that if one does not respect another that they will be punished, but it appears in these times that one's definition of respect is different then another's. Being specific, as you have done, doesn't leave it open for interpretation at all, which is good, but it does give loop holes, but in general the idea is solid. | |

For all the bitching I and my forefathers have seen in the many, many years we have been in this world, we have never actually seen anyone step up and make a difference. Angry your father/mother died in a war? Don't come to the streets bitching about the unfairness of it all and how the leader who won the war is a tyrant. Someone take a hit out on you and was anonymous? Who cares? We all die eventually, and unless you want to earn the respect of your family, rank up and become a head yourself to instigate real change, then shut up. I do not usually participate in the street because 99% of the posters anymore are griping about something or other, rather than role playing their lives as mafia henchman, as you should be doing. Spend more time developing your story and you will have less time to whine about that which you will not, and cannot, ever change. |

It is true... if you think about Howard. This game isn't meant for debating about things that will NEVER change. This game isn't about polls on who is the best leader. This game is about Mafioso living their daily lives. Yet, most people deceide to debate on things that have no meaning at all. Let me paint you a picture: You are a Made Man for "DrDebate's" family. You are talking to a friend and deciede to tell him that you don't like how he is doing his business. He takes it offensive and tells his Leader - so his Leader tells your CL and twenty minutes later - after a heated argument you are dead. Angry you run off and create a new character. In a huff you forge the perfect plan! DrDebate was a tyrant after all. Killing you for no fucking reason! Why not make a debate on if people think he is a good leader? You make a heated argument. Will this help you become a Made Man again? No. So why are you making it? No reason at all. This game was meant for Role-Playing (That is how I see it) and I think that this should continue to be the main base for the game. |
