Tolstory - A Pugs Life Started by: Tolstoi on Dec 14, '18 20:47
On a cold December night one year ago, Tolstoi was curled up on the bear skin rug in front of a blazing fireplace thinking about his life and what it all meant. As he looked around he noticed the furry tail, the warmth of the fur and lack of smile on the dead bears face. Everything seemed normal until he realised, that he too, had a tail, a warm furry coat but he had come to the conclusion that this bear had died of sadness, there was no longer a smile on its face. It was from this point onwards that Tolstoi began his pursuit of happiness. He carved a smile onto his face and shaved a sun on his tummy thinking that this would change anything. He took to the streets to spread joy and happiness chanting “with the sun on my tummy and a smile on my face, I am ready for a party any time, any place”

A couple months had passed, he quickly realised that nothing had changed, he was even more miserable. He was no longer spreading happiness. The smile carved on his face became infected, the sun on his tummy had grown out. He was a sight for sore eyes. After a couple months galavanting the streets, Tolstoi returned home, and reignited the fire and threw the bear skin into the fire, using it as an example, he swore to live a better life than the dead bear.
