As the snow fell on the cold winter streets only one man could be seen outside on such a harsh night, Random who had been working tirelessly to get the famous Detroit casino and resort 'The Searing Enigma' looking spectacular once again stood proudly outside it's grand doors, taking a moment to finish his cigar he took a step back and looked up to admire the new sign he had purchased that morning and impressive it looked indeed.

After flicking the remainder of his cigar into the gutter Random then opened the doors and headed inside where he was met by lollipops who to say the least looked stunning as usual, together they made their way through the newly refurbished lobby into the main grand room, once inside they paused and cast their eye over the new look casino.

There were rows and rows of brand new slot machines, craps and blackjack tables, but the most impressive looking we're the roulette tables fitted with a solid gold turnstile, the place couldn't have looked better. The pair finally made their way across the room and found themselves at the bar where Sapphire and a few of the guys we're relaxing.

"Hey boss, have a drink.. you deserve it."

Before Random could answer RatBoy had poured his boss and lollipops a drink each and slid them across the bar, raising his glass Random looked around at the group and smiled before downing the lot.

"Right, listen up, now that this place is finished we need to get people back inside this place and I know just what to do.. Sapphire write this down and then you guys get the word out."

WELL HOW ABOUT A COMPETITION

From today until Christmas I welcome everyone visiting Detroit to our grand casino 'The Searing Enigma', newly refurbished you will feel like royalty gambling with us or staying in one of our luxurious rooms all equipped with the finest facilities. What more could entice you? well how about a competition..  for every 2000 games no matter how big or small that you play with us in a weeks time period I will personally reward you with 1 million dollars.

The guys all jumped up and parted immediately to spread the word of The Searing Enigma's competition, wasting no time Random, lollipops and Sapphire got to work making final finishing touches to the place ensuring everything was in order and complimentary champagne was on ice ready to greet incoming customers.

She watched him intently through the glass doors, pacing up and down in the snow, glancing down at a small piece of paper repeatedly before repeatedly stuffing it into his coat pocket and reciting what was on it. 

Once satisfied, he tossed his cigar butt into the pure white snow and headed up the stairs to the entrance.

Lollipops composed herself as Random bounded through the door. He smiled at her and beckoned as they made their way into the main gaming room. She could see how excited he was as his eyes danced around the room giving nods of approval as he took it all in. After walking past all the new machines and tables they made their way over to the bar where other family members were congregated.

RatBoy produced their favourite tipple without even having to be asked and after Random downed his in one, he addressed the room, telling Sapphire to take notes.

Once he had finished his speech, RatBoy poured him another drink and Lollipops seized the opportunity to grab Sapphire by the  arm and lead her to a vacant corner.

"Listen Sapphire, ignore what the boss just said, we know math isn't his strongpoint and giving out 1 Million dollars every week to anyone who spends a minimum of $10,000 isn't going to keep this place open very long!"

She continued, "Go and grab the guys and tell them that they must have laid at least 2000 bets at a minimum stake of $25 at least that way we will cover some of the losses."

"Also get some flowers in the place, it looks like a brothel with all the dark wood, deep red carpets and Green drapes." "We will have to change things gradually so he doesn't notice but this place is definitely in need of a womans' touch."

Samuru pushed open the doors of the casino and quickly shuffled inside, looking half frozen he continuously rubbed his hands together and blew on them as he struggled to get warm, he had been out all evening letting the locals know about the competition that was now going on at this fine casino.

Taking a quick sip of whiskey from his flask Samuru then made his way into the grand room where there was already a large turnout of people, he stopped and smiled briefly, enjoying the moment and thinking this would surely be a successful venture for his boss when he noticed something different about the place, not quite being able to put his finger on what he made his way up to the bar where RatBoy was still drinking.

Getting a glass out Samuru set it down next to RatBoy and poured each of them a drink, taking another look around he still felt like something was different.

"Is it just me or has something changed here RatBoy?"

RatBoy shrugged his shoulders and looked around, the pair looked at each other and looked at lollipops and sapphire who were putting out all sorts of colourful flowers.

"Suppose it does look nice."
