Cold. It had been a few weeks that winter kicked in Detroit, making it colder than my ex-girlfriends heart out there, and god damn did she have a cold heart. Evening alongside its darkness had taken over the final light of the day, which usually is good for business in this thing of ours. If you would just take a look around you would see some old lady getting mugged in the corner, a bunch of lowlife hoodlums requesting tax money from the children toys shop, and the worst of all coppers doing their job properly. That, ladies and gents is unacceptable, at least not if we want to grow and make this city great. Detroit needed to be kicked back into the growth track and something had to be done, sooner rather than later. 

Rampage had been going around the city, meeting some old friends, inspecting and thinking of new ways over how to best handle the situation alongside his hands Lynchy and JoeDoh . Sleepless nights were spent coming up with different ideas over who will do what and finally they had come to a conclusion. 

The Motor City was about to be introduced to some shiny, brand new mechanics!

Rampage was at his office reading the newspaper and the bunch of lies that were written in it chuckling while drinking a glass of whiskey. Alright he was dealing with the whole bottle. Joe was standing by the window looking outside and the latest movements far in the street. The rain made it hard to see and the darkness didn't help. 

"They're here" was heard from Joe. 

Putting away the newspaper and taking one last look in the mirror to fix his tie Rampage stood up and just as he did Lynchy came in followed by 3 people. Rampage went close and gave all shook all of his friends hands. 

"Please, take a seat. This might take a while, I do like the crap out of monologues." said Rampage as he got out a cigar and lighted it. 

"First of all, let me thank you for bearing and standing by me for all this time. God knows it has been hard on you to do it, but I ask for you to do it again. You've been there when I've had the need for all of you and for that, I am grateful beyond measure. However, we've found ourselves in a moment in this citys history, where we need to take action, and action we most certainly will. The reason why we have come together here today is a very important one. We must take the wheel on this city and make it go as fast as possible trying to overcome all difficulties that we will encounter. It's not going to be easy, however we will do it in the end so let me start." passionately said Rampage. That's probably why you don't drink whiskey before important moments.

" Adelita , you've been with me for a damn long time and have proved to be quite resourceful and helpful around the headquarters. For that reason, we have decided to let you start your own operation here in Downtown. I know you're gonna rock at it, and should you ever need any help, our doors are always open for you."

The cigar was almost finished but Rampage hadn't noticed it yet as he was walking around his office. Than he turned his attention towards the next person. 

" Lust , I honestly don't know what to say. The things you've done for this city are great. Your family would be proud of the little hustler you have become. After having had a long talk with Soseki , we shared the same idea of having you start your family in the 12th Street. Now that is the neighbourhood I grew up and learned all the ropes so treat it right and it shall give you ten times over. We expect great things from you." 

Well, the cigar was most certainly finished now and after taking another sip of whiskey, Rampage went in front of his good old friend and than started talking. 

" Last but not least. To you my friend, I'd like to say a few words. If only your father was here to see this moment. You have come a long way from where you started out and I can truly say it has been a great ride. As the others before you, I also ask of you a great thing, but I very well know you can do it. So, Giuseppe_Ligambi , we want you to go out there in Corktown, take the leadership of the district and put it back on its track. Feel free to find the perfect place for your headquarters there."

The speech was about to come to an end, however the ride was only in its beginning. 

" With that said my friends, I would like to propose a toast. To a brand new, fruitful and prosperous city."

"SKOL!"

Congratulations Adelita, Lust and Giuseppe_Ligambi - while our paths cross now for the first time you have all stood out as the obvious candidates to drive Detroit onto great things. I’m very excited about working with each and every one of you as ours plans for Detroit unfold in the coming weeks and months!

Adelita got a call early in the morning just as she was waking up from a long night. "Hey Adelita, It's Lynchy, I need you to come by Godfather Rampage's office later this evening, we got some great news to discuss. Make sure to dress nice."

Phone shuts off

She then looks at the telephone and gently sets it down. Wondering what it may be about. As time passed, a bodyguard of Godfather Rampage picks up Adelita from her apartment and heads over to Rampage's office in Downtown, Detroit. As they arrive, she sees Lynchy standing alongside Lust and Giuseppe_Ligambi, now knowing it must be some fantastic news. She quickly jumps out of the car and follows Lynchy up to Rampages office. As they enter, Godfather Rampage shakes all of their hands and gestures them to take a sit and starts speaking to all of them about the new and up coming of the Motor City. After Godfather Rampage's amazing speech to the three of them, Adelita then raises her glass and says 

"All I can say Godfather Rampage, is thank you for considering me to help you make this city even greater than it once was and thank you for this amazing opportunity to lead a crew under you. Lastly, congratulations to my colleagues, Lust and Giuseppe_Ligambi. I look forward to working with the both of you and turning this city into something absolutely amazing."
