I'm actually very suprised to hear what you have said today Dick as this is something that I have been thinking for awhile now. No joke at all I have been getting pissed off when I go walking the streets and am trying to figure out whose pocket to insert my hand into and I'm happy to see those people with there pockets sown up but those who just wave their pockets around freely without any notice that there going to complain about me even touching them. Completely agree with you here Richard, if you don't want to have your cash stolen let people know and it stays nice and tight in your wallet. If you choose not to inform people you are against pickpocketing then that is your own fault as you can usually tell the people who aren't pickpocket friendly just from having a quick look at them.

I myself am not a fan of pickpockets and I let people know that, I work hard for my money and don't want every Tom, Dick and Harry getting a share of it every time they walk past me in the street.

There's a very divided line for people's views on pickpocketing. On one hand, there's the group that claims it's nothing more than fun and that the money is minimal. The other side of the equation is that it's either disrespectful, the money isn't as petty, or so on.

Would you find it disrespectful for someone to come up to you while you're eating, put a fork in your steak and carry it off? Probably. In this thing of ours, one should never assume or take something for granted when it comes to someone else in this criminal enterprise. To do so is almost a slap in the face to our system, no matter how small or insignificant some people consider it as.

I fully agree with you Richard Wad, getting your pockets raided should not be a big of a deal. Although it is a little bit funny when getting complaints about it. In my opinion, when getting complaints about it, i feel PPing is a little bit more fun. (Only my opinion) Sometimes my hand slips and grabs the wrong thing, maybe that's why people complain about it. No as that is an attack on you and something you can not stand for. I understand what you are saying, however in this world alot of people pickpocket others like a game, or a competition, or a cheap laugh so you have to think that the people who do not explicitly state they are against pickpocketing are quite happy to join in with the fun and games.

I am an entreprenuer in the business of picking pockets. Being relatively street smart, although a bit wet behind the ears, I routinely and respectfully walk pass those individuals who have clearly noted their dislike of my profession.

With that being said, I have much more respect for those that enjoy a friendly pull from me every now and then. I smile a little each time someone has fiddled with my wallet. That, I believe, is why so many practice the art of PP. It's fun and you meet your fellow players. Granted, some weren't worth the trouble. It's not like we do it for the money.

In closing, I would like to ask all to support our streets and this life that we live by proudly noting your preferences.
