Isabella stumbles through the streets, trying not to bump into anybody. She trips and falls flat on her face. A young gentleman helps her to get up on her feet. As soon as she is up she steps into a muddy pot hole on the sidewalk. Frustrated she stops and pulls out a hankerchief and cleans her shoes. Nearby, she hears music in a distance. She follows the sound of music and finds herself in Central Park. There is a band playing music. She gets closer and saw a huge crowd dancing. She begins to tap her feet.

James helps the lady back to her feet.

Ma'am,are you ok? Your not hurt are you?

James gives her a look over to make sure shes alright.
Report Post Tip
I am not hurt. I just having a bad day, thats all.

Thank you, for helping me up.

Gosh, hearing that music just makes me wanna dance.
Report Post Tip
Looks into the crowd and up at the band.

Yes they do seem rather good. Would you like to dance?

Holds out his hand to her.

I know a little thing or two.
Report Post Tip
She extends her hand.

I would love to.

He takes her into the middle of the crowd and starts dancing. He spins and throws her up in the air.

You are pretty good.

The crowd started clapping and cheering them on.
Report Post Tip
He begins to do a bit of swing dancing with her.

Why thank you. Your not so bad yourself.

Dancing till the song whines down. He steps up to the band and makes a request.

How about a bit of Tango, fellows? Do you know how to do the Tango, my lady?
Report Post Tip
Why not?

He grabs her and takes a hard look at her face and the music begins.
Report Post Tip
Seeing that she really doesn't know how to he takes it slow and helps her keep rhythm.

Cha,Cha,Cha. See its easy just keep those feet moving. One,two, one, two, three. That a girl.

Letting her get the hang of it. He begins to let loose a bit.
Report Post Tip
She finally figures it out and begins to smile.

I am having fun. Are you?

He spins her around.
Report Post Tip
Yes,of course I am. Beautiful day,great music,and of course a beautiful woman.

Song ending,James spins her once more.

What a bit of exercise dancing is. Would you like to sit and chat awhile?
Report Post Tip
She looks around to find a place to sit.

Look, there's a empty bench. Let's go before its taken.

They rush to the bench and sit.
Report Post Tip
Letting her sit first, being the gentleman he is.

You know I still haven't caught your name. I'm James by the way.

He looks off into the group as they all dance and clap with the tune of the song. Birds chirping along as well. Sky as bright as always no cloud in sight.

Beautiful day I must say.
Report Post Tip
She sits.

My name is Isabella. Nice to meet you James. It is a beautiful day here. I want to know something. Where did you learn how to dance like that?

She looks inside her bag for her pack of cigarettes and pulls one out.

Do you mind if I smoke?
Report Post Tip
No go right ahead.

Sits back and relaxes.

My father and mother taught me some, then I just learned as I watched. I love to dance.

James dazes off a bit thinking back to when he was younger and his father and mother would show him dance steps. What a lovely couple they were. He wishes he could go back to those times once more, when it was peaceful and everything was quite simple to him. Now he has grown up and realizes things weren't so peachy for his parents.
Report Post Tip
She notices that something is wrong.

Is everthing okay?

She lights up her cigarette and takes a drag.
Report Post Tip
Hearing a voice he snaps back to reality.

Oh yes things are fine. Got into a bit of a daydream there. So are you from here or just visiting?
Report Post Tip
I am just visiting here. Pretty soon I have to head back home to Philly.

She signs because she doesn't want to leave because she is having a great time in New York.
Report Post Tip
I see. You like it in Philly? I've been a few times.

James things to himself about Philly. City of brotherly love, depends on who's your brother and what family they are associated with, wrong one and you may just whined up dead.
Report Post Tip
I love Philly. Its a great place. The people over there are so nice and helpful.

She extinguishes her cigarette.
Report Post Tip
I've came across a few that were and some that weren't. I suppose every city had people like that though. Always a bad apple around.

James watches as the crowd disburses and the band stops playing.

Looks like todays festivities are over. That was quite enjoyable.
