Rapunzel Had Been in the Tranquility Headquarters for a week now and started to realise a strange man who would appear out of nowhere and take all of her friends money he had a bizarre name, Rapunzel scratches her head while she tries to remember and then it comes to her his name is House.

Rapunzel looks around the HQ for an empty office and accidentally walks in on BreeZe getting changed into his suit for another day out of the office.. She stops and daydreams at his big biceps and quickly turns around and moves to the next room.

Eventually Rapunzel Finds a Small office and Realises this would be quite perfect. after some time of getting Soseki To agree to purchase a nice leather sofa and clean the room up it was ready.

The room had a certain ambiance to it and Rapunzel fell in love.

Rapunzel went upstairs to the Second biggest Offince in the HQ and walks in on Tammy sitting at her desk with her feet on the table. When Tammy realising Rapunzel Was watching she quickly started writing something down pretending she was hard at work

"Hi Tammy I have a new refurbished Office Downstairs and would like you to come and see it"

Rapunzel Smirks because without Tammy knowing it Tammy will be her first client in the Gamblers Anonymous

Tammy was caught by surprise as Rapunzel enthousiastically appeared in the door opening. Maybe Tammy should have locked the door if she wanted to properly pretend to be working her ass off..
Well.. Good thing it wasn't Soseki, she thought

Oh that sounds great, Rapunzel, Tammy responded to the ambitious recruit that arrived last week

I'd be happy to follow after you.. It may take a couple of minutes before I arrive, as I don't want to step on your hair!

Tammy closed the book she pretended to read and followed after Rapunzel

Why does she not have any split ends? What's her secret? Was all Tammy thought as she saw the hair slowly started to move..

Rapunzel, wrapped her hair around herself like a big scarf so not to get in the way of  ♥Tammy's footsteps

When they arrived in the room Rapunzel insisted that Tammy take a seat and started to brush Tammy's hair.

"You do have lovely hair Tammy but you should think about using this it's my very own secret Formula I put a bit of your ordinary shampoo then I add" Rapunzel whispers "And that's the secret"

Rapunzel sits opposite Tammy and looks nervous like there is something on her mind she just can't say

Tammy sat down and underwent whatever was to happen. She enjoyed the brushing of her hair, it calmed her..

Ah.. I get it now! You are opening a spa? Or a massage saloon? Or will it be a hairdresser's only? Will it be for men..? For women? They will love the secret thing you do..

Rapunzel did not answer properly, so Tammy raised her upper body and turned around to look Rapunzel in the eye..
The long-haired girl walked around her and took a seat opposite of Tammy, fished her hair onto her lap and stared back at Tammy.

What is on your mind, Rapunzel?
What do you want to tell me? Is it a different kind of thing?

Rapunzel looks down at the floor and takes a deep breath

"Well I sort of wanted to talk to you about your Gambling problem I saw that strange man they call House visit here once too often now. and I know there are more that need my help"

Rapunzel looks over at Tammy and squints her eyes as she waits for Tammy to lash out about her Gambling problem

Report Post Tip

Tammy looks over her shoulder.. She wonders whether Mescaline or LouisMezzo is in the room. She sees noone, but the room is not fully lit, so she decides to play to not throw out too many details.

So you tricked me to come here to talk about a non-existing problem..? I mean..
Who told you? Was it BreeZe?
I really don't have a gambling problem, Rapunzel. I hardly ever bet.
Really..
House?
Tammy lifts her shoulders as she has a cold look in her stare as she underlines that she is not an addict by saying

I will bet you for a hundred thousand dollars that I don't have a dicing problem!

Rapunzel Smirks at Tammy's terrible idea on how to prove she is not addicted to Gambling

"I wont have you say a bad word about the wonderful dreamy BreeZe I mean attractive charming.. you get the picture."

Rapunzel brushes her hair back and crosses her legs

"We are your friends and are only here to help you. Now let's start this by you admitting you have a problem"

Word was coming back to Philadelphia that Tammy was finally getting the help she needed.  After the last shambolic visit to her coffee/bakery/something or other help was long overdue.  Louis had consulted with a couple of eminent psychologists who had frequented his card games about some of the symptoms Tammy had been showing:

Mood swings – possible monthlies but if more frequent than that then maybe signs of stress and strain due to gambling.  May also be hereditary.

Erratic behaviour – Potential symptoms of addictive personality.

When Louis sat and thought about this and the genealogical data he had unearthed about Tammy, he hoped that the visit to Gambler’s Anonymous would be the step he needed.  The loans he had provided her were taking longer and longer to be paid back.  If it wasn’t the gambling that was causing the issues then it was all in the Mopontop genes.  He had heard his father taking about misappropriation in the past and the “gambling” issues may be a ploy to cut and run with other people’s stuff.  He hoped Rapunzel would get on top of it.

Tammy was still wondering what Rapunzel meant..
Until she named the Gambling Problem for the second time. Then, Tammy finally understood.

Rapunzel must have acquired a lot of money somewhere, somehow, and wants to solve my lack of gambling funds!

I see! Tammy spoke, That is so generous! What kind of figure do you want to invest in my skills? You are so lovely! You are the best friend anyone could have! Just like LouisMezzo is, also always willing to support my gambling cause..

She wiped an upcoming tear from her eye as her soul was touched by their friendship.

I know it's the genes of my great-great-great-grandfather Quijote . He was said to be fighting windmills, I have transformed his crusade to nowadays, as I am taking on House. I am so delighted to have some friends that are so wonderful and supportive.. Helping me, supporting me in my battle, my crusade!

She paused, making it even more dramatic..

God, I love you, Rapunzel! Thank you so much!

Tammy stood up and held up her hand, ready to go to the dicing arena.

The 07:27 train to Detroit was rumbling its way through the countryside, the sun starting to come over the horizon as it left Philly.  Louis sat in the Railroad Company carriage and watched the guys at the card game bluffing their way through the journey.  He wasn’t a poker man himself and preferred to play a little street dice every now and then with varying degrees of success.

Doctor Jack O'Hearts had just blown all his money on a few dodgy hands and was now sitting out the rest of the hands having an early morning coffee.

“What’s up doc? You needing a loan to get you back in the game?”, Louis smiled always on the lookout for a business opportunity.

“Ha ha, no Louis I’m good.  I take the money I’m prepared to lose and if I lose I lose.  I’m not going to get myself in debt over it.  And no offence Louis, certainly not to you guys.”

Louis grinned at the comment.

“We’re pussy cats really doc.  I got a couple of friends who are backwards and forwards for loans to play dice.  They’ve always paid it back with interest.  One of them has been checked in to Gambler’s Anonymous by one of her friends.  One of those intervention things”

“Louis, if they’ve got to that level I would think twice about helping them out.”

“Hmm, I might pop in and see them when we get to Detroit then.  What are you heading there for anyway?”

“Just visiting some friends.”

“Ok, enjoy your stay, I’ll leave you with your coffee.”

Louis walked round to the coffee cart and poured himself one.  He would definitely go in and offer Tammy some support.  It’s what friends do for their unbalanced psychotic friends.

Rapunzel shakes her head at Tammy

"Tammy That is not what I meant, However you do seem to have a skill for Dice.. What am I saying no you must stop its destroying you."

"like I said the Hardest part is accepting you have a problem, Look your friends LouisMezzo has arrived to say a few words to you"

Rapunzel notices Tammy's hand shaking, and checks the clock its been 2 hours since she placed her last Dice bet

Report Post Tip

Tammy nods..
I agree, Rapunzel, stopping dice would destroy me..!

Tammy didn't have coffee for a while.. Her hands were itching to make some..

LouisMezzo? That is so sweet! You brought him here to make an investment pool together, for me to proof those skills. That's amazing, you both obviously are the best friends someone could have..!

Tammy stood up and thought of how she, on her way to her bakery, could maybe pass through a casino of sorts.

Think it will take long for Louis to arrive? she asked Rapunzel
Usually he comes early..

Louis stepped in to the room and nodded to Rapunzel.

“Hey Tammy.  How are things going?  You’re looking….well.”

Louis stood near Rapunzel and whispered

“Has she started shaking yet?  He looks so…naïve sitting there.  Like one of those puppies that thinks it’s about to be taken to run around a farm before…you know…” Louis used a finger gun to the back of his head.

He turned back to Tammy.

“Tammy, I’ve been looking into your family history a bit.  I think you may have a gambling problem from your father, Tops Mopontop.  He had an inescapable compulsion to fritter away everything claiming to have some phenomenal skill with the dice.  He didn’t.”

Louis walked around to a chair and sat down.

“You know how I complain about your custard, well you make custard better than you play dice…and your custard is terrible.”

Report Post Tip

Tammy smiled as LouisMezzo brought up Tops. She was proud of her grandfather. She remembered him taking her along to casino's ever since she was a year and a half old. As most casino's had an age restriction of 18, it was very convenient that her grandpa was a judge as well, and confronted the casino-holders that nowhere it stated years, so the age restriction could have been on months as well.

Anyway, her grandfather always used to win. It was lovely. She remembered how he bought cooking lessons for her from his winnings one day, when she was a young teenager. That is when she learned to make custard. The best custard in the world. Heston taught her back then. He taught her basics, such as... never to use a licked fork to stir it.. Anyway.. It reminded her.. She should bake a cake for Heston to congratulate him on his birthday!

Sorry.. My mind wandered off, Mr Mezzo, she smiled.. So how much did you want to invest in my dicing today?

Louis turned back to Rapunzel.

“She’s getting quite delusional now is she not?  Have you tried her custard?”

Louis looked around, “You see that carpet that we are standing on.  That’s more edible than what she would serve.  I don't know why she would impugn Heston's good name like that.”

“Tammy, there will be no more loans.  I cannot be seen to be enabling your addiction.  The disussions I have had with eminent head doctors has led me to believe that I and anyone else who has helped you out has done nothing but delay this inevitable intervention.”

“I can only imagine where you get some of your cash to gamble as it is.  I’d liken it to a bear being in charge of the honey factory.”

Louis made a mental note to have people refer to Tammy as Pooh from now on.

Rapunzel puts her arm around Tammy

"Its okay Tammy both me and louisMezzo are here for you"

Rapunzel looks at LouisMezzo and nods for him to come over and get involved in a group hug

Standing off in the outer hallway Mescaline lit up another cigarette as he watched the events going on inside. "Trying to steal my customers... unacceptable," he muttered to himself. "We'll see how this works out for them..."

Seeing Rapunzel and LouisMezzo wrapping their arms around Tammy Mescaline knew it was time to strike. Snuffing out the last few drags of his cigarette on the wall. He quickly entered the room and closed the gap between himself and the group.

"My friend Tammy! I came as soon as I heard what was happening. I just want you to know I'm always here for you!" Mescaline embraced Tammy and rested his head on her shoulder. He leaned in closely and whispered, barely audible to the people surrounding them. "Don't worry I still have low-interest loans once you get out of here."

For a moment, Tammy thought she was going delusional. She imagined her good friend LouisMezzo calling her delusional.
I must have heard that wrong, maybe it was just the voices in my head saying that..

Tammy swallowed and smiled again, having rejected that horrible thought.

Everything seemed a bit vague. LouisMezzo used the word impugn and Tammy had no idea what he meant.
He must have been advising me to eat the carpet, but it does not make any sense out of the mouth of a custard critic, of which the rumour was on the streets that his very own Right Hand Yvette is absolutely repelled from the custard he makes himself.
Tammy made a mental note to one day give LouisMezzo a free cooking lesson at Heston's.
Yvette will probably instantly love custard if it is non-lumpy-saliva-from-the-fork-free, as it is meant to be, @Heston-style, @Tammy-style.

As LouisMezzo told her there would be no more loans, she turned pale. But then she realized this was all one big set-up. A joke!
Tammy started chuckling, though still a bit insecure about the situation she was in. That was when Rapunzel and LouisMezzo suddenly decided to hug her, as the incredibly long-haired girl told her they would always hand them loans by telling her they were there for her.

What kind of method acting class is this?
Tammy asked, being slightly relieved that both seemed to not actually be trying to keep her away from casino's after all.

And then, like a bolt out of the blue the sky cleared up. The sun broke through. Everything turned bright. Birds started to sing. Flowers blossomed. Mescaline had entered, he intervened and made Tammy have to swallow a couple of times, being so happy that she was fighting her tears.. Taking her out of the nightmare that she thought she was in for a moment..

Oh, Mescaline. You couldn't have offered at a better moment! I would love to take two.. or maybe three of those loans I usually take from you!
