| Option to reset achievements | Started by: Zeitgeist on Jan 20, '19 18:22 |

So this may require some tweaking of rewards for specific achievements to prevent abuse but as someone who uses achievements as a literal driving force for gameplay, once you run out of achievements and all you are left with are the unattainable and honestly seldom worthwhile and utterly ridiculous Hardcore achievements it can be severely depressing to go weeks without completing assessments and utterly demotivating to not have any idea as to your progress.
Would there ever be any consideration to allowing users the opportunity to "reset" a certain achievement to redo them? Obviously, you may need to restructure the rewards slightly and to prevent abuse limit this to (once every 3 months) or something like that. It's so encouraging and rewarding chasing rewards early on in the game and honestly, a lot of fun completing them, as you age you can go weeks of playing 12+ hours a day without completing anything whilst actively chasing them.
"Success you have reset your Lockup Liberator Achievement Tier, You will next be eligible to reset this in 60 days"
I am quite confident I am not the only person who chases achievements aggressively and would love this option.
