When she returned her eyes were wide and bright as Tommy commented that she like the room.  Frank nodded so did the other two men.  

You have a refrigerator and next door is a restaurant go there when you get hungry and give them this note and order what you want.  Tomorrow me and Augie will take you shopping and to work.  It all starts tomorrow morning at 8 am.  Meet us next door for breakfast and bring a new paper they give you one every morning the sports section I will need that.  Okay Kimi V?

Suzzy's Q was the Restaurant that Frank and Augie were sitting at 7:30 am.  Frank looked at his watch then at Augie wondering where she was until again Augie reminded him that he said 8 am.  Frank shook his head and then looked at the menu.   Then Frank went to a pay phone to call her but no answer.  Frank was wondering if his new employee skipped town in the middle of the night.   He looked at his watch and it was 7:35 am.  Frank took a deep breath and went an sat down while Augie rolled his eyes and repeated 8 am several times until Frank tosses some salt at him from the salt shaker.  They both laughed then that's when Frank saw Kimi.  She was smiling. 

Frank stood up as she came over she handed him the sports section he was so happy she remembered.  

Here Kimi please sit down the waitress is coming over order whatever you want she doesn't have a menu she cooks what we order.  Bacon sausage, toast eggs anyway you want juice orange, apple and grape.  hash browns or fries, you name it Suzzy will make it.  

Frank noticed that Kimi had the same clothes on so the first place was to his tailors then the Furniture stop then groceries and dishware.  

The Clown stolls down the streeets of chicago,and catches this one tune he was famailar which he learned in his early days in the neighborhood.Clown decides to grab a sandwhich  and go up where this is taking place...while sitting there eating and enjoying the music.  he loos at his watch and said dam ,I gotta go time flew fast for Clown,so back to the ooffice immediately.

Frank looks at Augie and they start to laugh as Frank hands Augie a hundred dollar bill shanking his head.  

Thanks Kimi, this guy bet me that instead of talking about furniture you would talk about your fiddle.  Yeah we will go there first I need your mind on the business side once were done.  

Frank orders two omelets with ham and peppers two flapjacks and six strips of bacon and a glass of orange juice and a cup of joe.  Augie ordered the same thing. Frank paid for all three meals.   As they sat talking about the apartment and the stuff Kimi wanted to get Frank was making circles on the news paper Kimi gave him.  Frank loved the horse tracks and making bets on them paid off most of the time.  

The food came and they ate.  Then Frank made a call and placed his bets.  Looking at them two laughing and talking Frank could only shake his head he wanted Kimi to start relaxing and enjoying life.  Once he was done with his call he came back and asked them were they ready to go to the musical instrument store and then get her some clothes.  

Frank and Augie watch Kimi as she found a fiddle that she loved and the look on her face as she couldn't find a price tag.  Augie whispered in her ear that the family owns the shop so she can take it just sign her name in the registry.  Frank was looking out the window with a foot on the ledge dusting off his shoe.

Kimi You found one you like?  Harry get the woman a new case and bow please.  

The Shop keeper did as Frank asked and Frank handed Harry few bucks the old man nodded and called Frank a good boy.  Harry was one of the first men Frank met in Chicago his wife used to always make Frank a lunch and invite him to sunday dinners.  He was their adopted son and Frank loved them both.

Now lady lets get you some new clothes.  

They walked out of the musical instrument shop and down to the tailor where Frank had his suits made.  He opened the door and Kimi stepped in.  Gary De'Santos was waiting and asked Frank was this pretty young lady the one you called this morning about?  Frank nodded and Gary took her hand and spent her around very slowly.  

"Frank is she carrying a Chicago Type writer that your so fond of. "

Frank shook his head no and Gray nodded.  Augie rolled his eyes because he hated Gary he walked over to Kimi to take her fiddle while she gets measured and fitted.  Frank asked:

Gray please tell her what you see her wearing?

Gray showed Kimi swatches of material and asked her which she wanted and how many in dresses and business suits?  He assured Kimi that price was no worries as Frank had already paid for twenty out fits.  She just had to pick the material and give him what she wanted.  While Frank and Augie sat in the chairs talking. 

Frank looked at Gary and gave him a look that could set a barn on fire.  Gary walked back and ask Kimi to try on a few dress that he made for a few young ladies that couldn't afford the dresses to see what fitted and what needed alterations.  Gray realizing that Frank was not happy with the service he told Kimi that he will not leave until he has five outfits for her no later than tomorrow at noon.  

Frank gave a small nod and then sat with Augie again.  Kimi returned again with two dress in hand one was and all black silk dress for a ballroom party and the other was a silver dress also for a ballroom party.  Gray then come out the back room and said he will have the alteration done by tonight on three business suits and another formal dress and I will deliver them tonight myself. 

Happy Frank gave an nod of approval and then looked at Augie who was handing Kimi her case back.  The trio walked out and headed to the furniture store.  They walked about five blocks then entered a store that did business but was not connected.  They had the best to choose from but the prices where a bit high.  Frank turned to kimi and said.

Okay Kid you got two hours to pick what you want then we get lunch across the street and you get to see what you will be doing to pay for all this stuff.  

Frank called over one of the store sales associates and Kimi told him what she wanted.  Then the address Frank asked the man to have it delivered today at 6 pm and he would get a twenty dollar tip.  The young man rushed to the back and spoke to the driver and then came back to reassure that it would be there Frank gave him the tip but warned him that it better get their tonight.  After that they walked across the street to Franks restaurant the Red Brick they sat and ordered their lunch.  

Okay Kimi order anything you want this is my joint and upstairs is where you will run the loans.  Now listen any business that can pay me back quickly charge them three points that's 30 percent interest, business that cant pay you charge them 2 pts that's 20 percent of the loan in interest.  Now some you can charge a 1point and a half 15 percent.  The points are called the vig or interest.  The loan is called the nut  they have to pay that vig every week.  If they fail then Augie collects.  They then pay or they give me half the business.  The objective is to have them bank roll your loans so you can loan more or take half their businesses so you can clean your money and show income taxes.
