Raylan had a social experiment in mind that he wished to put to good use. He wanted not only to see where this would lead, but also he was excited to see what types of people he would inevitably meet, the conversations he was bound to have, and what new friendships he could form. The experiment would be very simple. Raylan would offer an item to trade and once that item was traded he would immediately offer to trade whatever new item that came into his possession. He would do this until either interest completely dies off or he did.

With this in mind Raylan looked around his desk and found an old gold pen that wrote in black ink. The pen was nice, but nothing to write home about. He had fliers made out describing the pen, an image of the pen on each flier, as well as an address where one could meet with Raylan to offer up a trade. Raylan than went to the address with the pen in his coat pocket. He knew it would be a while before things got rolling, but he was excited nonetheless.

As people walked around him in the streets Raylan looked around and noticed that most of the faces seemed focus on where they were headed. Without a doubt their minds only focused on a single point of interest and nothing more. The people did not stop to greet him, they did not even seem to notice him. This was what Raylan was seeking to battle in his own little way. He did not want to be like them. Droning on from one place to the other. He wanted interaction, he wanted excitement, and he wanted more.

There was a bench next to where he stood and he took a couple of side steps until he was in front of the bench. He sat slowly and sighed with relief having taken a load off of his feet. He continued to people watch from his position. It was a fascinating pastime to say the least.
