Standing in front of his work bench in his shop Rick looks over at Jerry. Buurrrping he pulls out his flask and takes a drink. Polishing off what was left of the liquor inside.

"So Jerry... any chance you wanna be my test subject?"

Looking around anxiously Jerry just sits there with the usual stupid Jerry expression.

"Fuck it..." Rick mur murs to himself as he walks into the other room. He comes back accompanied by Nikita. 

"Nikita, I need you to go through this portal for me. You'll pop out of this second portal here. Benefit being.... well I'm not sure." Looking at Rick, Nikita begins to get nervous. "Rick, I'm not so sure about..." Before Nikita could finish her thoughts her and her friends are pushed into the portal. Almost instantly what's left of Nikita and her friends pop out of the other portal in pieces.

"Uhhhh.... whoops..." 

A simple bird watches the crazy man who thinks he's funny and has an odd sense of what I'm sure he'd call humor, talk about things that are serious as a joke. The crow is confused by the actions of the joke of a human. He knows that to his species death is not something to be made fun of or taken lightly, even to opposing species.

The crow cocked it's head as the man went on and on with his foolishness. It noticed his master's body was also lying there. The foolish man, he thought he killed him. The bird held back a caw of laughter. It wouldn't be fitting to laugh as someone's stupidity. The bird actually felt sorry for the man and the people he worked for. It quickly lost it's feeling of sympathy. It had work to do.

Nobody ever expects much out of a simple crow sitting at the scene of a "murder". The bird would remember everything it saw. From the bodies to the treatment of them. To even the whispers of the people behind the scenes, to the disrespect that was shown here tonight. The bird would remember it all, for that was the job it's master tasked it to do.

Is this the explanation or is there a formal one for Nikita's removal?

I have it on good sourcing that Zoom "didn't trust Nikita due to some things she had been saying recently."

I wouldn't expect a formal explanation, Zoom needs other people to write those for him, and his daddy has written his three paragraphs for the month.
