The Future is Bright in Seattle Started by: ConstanceBonacieux on Jan 23, '19 04:05

Zoom's days had been filled with a wide variety of activities. He found himself training WallyWest on how to be a "better" criminal/bad guy, running around doing countless Organized Crimes, and putting out small fires here and there. There had been a few close calls where someone had almost put Pickle Rick onto a sandwich - which would have obviously tasted disgusting.

Zoom took a country-wide tour as his daily run throughout the important cities; Los Angeles, Philly, Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Detroit, and Seattle. Whilst on it one day, he slowed around the time-field surrounding him he took a look around the city he had just been speeding through. It seemed as if he were in the last city of the tour, Seattle.

As he took a look around he noticed that the wind had blown around a shitload of fliers that seemed important. Deciding to be a good citizen for once in his life, Zoom picked them all up and returned them to the various different boards that they came from. He scanned the last one in his hands a final time;

Wanted!

Two brave souls to fill up two open slots in Seattle.

The stipulations are as follows:

1) Must be 45 days old and younger and not be a current crew leader.

2) One time set-up fee of $8,000,000 for the central district and $5,000,000 for the other two districts payable to lil old me.

3) Maximum of 2 crews per district.

4) Maximum HQ size of 15, if the leader survives for 30 days they will be able to upgrade to the 30 man HQ.

5) The leader is to cover the cost of their HQ and forts by themselves.

6) Spots will be first come, first serve.

7) Leaders may take an RH and an LH from other crews, but no other members, they will have to build membership on their own.

8) If a district is empty then two new crews will be allowed to enter with the same requirements. If there is only one crew in the district it will still be considered populated.

9) If there is a dispute between one district and another no other city will step in unless they feel that they are at risk. If another city has a substantiated reason to believe that any or all of the districts of Seattle pose a risk they may intervene in the leadership of that district.

10) Must have current leader's blessing to make this move. If not, the current leader may react in whichever way they feel necessary, even if it means killing the member that left.

When someone attains the rank of Godfather they will control their district forever and ever, when someone reaches Godfather Chairman they will run the city forever and ever.

Zoom needed some fiber for later and so he decided to eat the last flier before jolting off back towards LA.

Report Post Tips: 2 / Total: $40,000 Tip

A Ethel shakes her head at both ConstanceBonaciex and Zoom. Both young men are clearly into Socialism.

1) Must be 45 days old and younger and not be a current crew leader.

(Dictating age requirement is discrimination)

2) One time set-up fee of $8,000,000 for the central district and $5,000,000 for the other two districts payable to lil old me.

( Records of this being paid, if paid, need to be documented for all to see)

3) Maximum of 2 crews per district.

(Really?)

4) Maxi)mum HQ size of 15, if the leader survives for 30 days they will be able to upgrade to the 30 man HQ.

(Really?)

5) The leader is to cover the cost of their HQ and forts by themselves.

(This goes without say but for some deranged reason you highlighted this requirement. Perhaps your deranged rationale is in hopes of a sucker setting up instead of all your alliances sent over)

6) Spots will be first come, first serve.

(How righteous of you hahahahaha)

7) Leaders may take an RH and an LH from other crews, but no other members, they will have to build membership on their own.

(This gran gesture gets even more entertaining. Slyly promoting others to recruit by any means. A problem man asking others to fix the cause of the problem they are attributing too.)

8) If a district is empty then two new crews will be allowed to enter with the same requirements. If there is only one crew in the district it will still be considered populated.

(Dictatorship does not work. Never has and never will. You are growing weaker young men.)

9) If there is a dispute between one district and another no other city will step in unless they feel that they are at risk. If another city has a substantiated reason to believe that any or all of the districts of Seattle pose a risk they may intervene in the leadership of that district.

(Call the head shrinks because this is when paranoia comes into play or some bullshit rationale)

(10) Must have current leader's blessing to make this move. If not, the current leader may react in whichever way they feel necessary, even if it means killing the member that left.

(The old underlay for the overlay theme. Bored. Need a plus one?)

You neglected to add the following numerated facts:

11) This is what one would call "Deja Vu" by taking control at any cost)

12) I am going to have one of my weak guns practice on me very often so I can live forever and ever

Stepping out from her HQ for a breath of fresh air she inhales deeply and sighs happily.

All three Seattle districts are full once again. Congratulations and good luck to Broken and ChiefKeef. I hope you live long and prosper.

Lowering her head she makes her way back into her HQ to finish off some paperwork so she can enjoy the rest of her Sunday with family and friends.

It appears Miss Ethel could sniff out bullshit and shut them up until Miss Ethel no longer existed.

Zoom dashed through Seattle after his recent dicing spree and he noticed that the city was shaping up nicely, despite the recent discrepancies that it had faced. Zoom hadn't taken too much of a hands on approach with the shaping of the city - mostly due to being busy handling things within his own city. He met up with Constance at a local pub and the pair talked about ways that they could assist in hurrying up the process of filling the last open spot. It came to Zoom's mind that perhaps people were simply lacking money. He glanced at Constance with a simple eyebrow raise that said "do you trust me?" - she chuckled, rolling her eyes. Zoom nodded once and began stapling an addendum to the bottom of the posters that Constance had been seen tacking up everywhere.

For a 7 day grace period, anyone who is eligible to enter Seattle as a CrewLeader will be able to do so at half price - we are hoping to find a great fit and don't want these hard economic times to deter those who would otherwise thrive.

She arrives home after a day at the lake with her family and sighs... Sadly no one had shown interest in the empty Waterfront district after her dear Transistor had spoken about the two available slots so she decided to try one more time before coming up with an alternative option...

We have two spots open in the Waterfront district of Seattle. These are prime spots. If anyone is interested please get a hold of Zoom, Transistor, or myself to discuss this once in a lifetime chance...

God be good Godmother but maybe it's time to shake things up.

Adjust some rules maybe as it looks like things have gone stale over in the lands of Seattle.

Another thing too was most these leaders had been members of crews there or had jumped over when their crew shut down or was removed which allowed some to bypass rule 7.

With the long peace we've been blessed with age has caught up with most of us and thus so preventing many from trying their hand. Many here have been blesssed by the almighty with strength and determination but he frowns at age being a barrier.

Report Post Tips: 2 / Total: $40,000 Tip

BobRoss finds himself on one of his regular roams through the streets. He often liked the time to himself, picking up on the conversations, announcements and discussions around him as he wandered aimlessly with nothing but his little trees for company to calm his busy mind and relax his restless body. Along his travels, Bob noticed a lot of fliers being blown around in the breeze - some relating to missing pets, others were job advertisements. However, the ones that really caught his eye were the notices regarding the growing city of Seattle. His memory grew worse by the day but he definitely recalled ConstanceBonacieux recently seeking some more help in spreading the word of Seattle's vacancies and this triggered one of his crazy ideas... BobRoss was about to take to advertising.

Bob rushed back to his HQ, rushing past the unusual sight of RobBoss as hurried through the entrance and began to pack a large gym bag. A bit confused, some of his associates questioned the urgency, to which he only replied,

"Busy! Grab a paintbrush or go and earn us some money! I'm on an important job for our Godfather Chairman." With the bag fully packed, he darted back out of the door chucking a nod of respect at RobBoss as he left. Without time to answer, RobBoss just raised an eyebrow as he watched Bob dive into one of the work vans and speed off with haste.

After returning back to the streets, Bob parked the van up and surveyed the nearby area. Most of the uniform in the area were in his pocket, but he always had to double check some fresh-faced officer wasn't going to try being a hero - he was too busy to be disposing of any bodies today. Content with his surroundings, he scouted the area for the perfect location before unpacking the van and getting to work.

With excitement coursing throughhis body, Bob was quickly invested in his own happy little world. He was famously in love with his art and any chance he'd have to get lost in the fun of it all, he'd snap up in a moment! However, the locals were not so blissfully lost in it all. In fact, the mafioso had begun to cause quite a commotion after having parked in the middle of the busying streets to prepare his workspace. He erected a ladder and began to unpack his gym bag of goodies - paintbrushes, pots of paint, unusually multicoloured dust-sheets were just some of the equipment he'd unloaded into the middle of the growing crowd. He briefly noticed he was causing an issue for all those passing by but he was so caught up in his art, he didn't stop to consider anyone else. Besides, perhaps a large gathering crowd was just what he needed - he was here to get a message across after all...

Although he was there for hours perfecting the masterpiece, the crowd only increased in size - as did their expectations. As the art began to unfold in front of them, people were less bothered by the mess and more distracted by the artist. With each stroke of the brush, growing gasps of amazement could be heard... Each time he'd rush back down his ladder, grab more equipment and scurry back up, the crowd would murmur in anticipation for what details were coming next. By the time he had finished the masterpiece, the crowd were mesmerised by all of its allure and beauty. He'd painted a huge advertisement for Seattle on the largest wall he could find - this thing was huge, it could be seen with ease by anyone and everyone who frequented the streets. As the crowd continued to gaze in awe, Bob slowly made his way down the ladder and took a few steps back, his head tilted slightly as he took in his progress. He was pleased - he liked it! It had been a while since he had got his hands dirtied with paint, but he'd come back with all of his creativity flowing extra hard, it had just burst out of him and he'd experienced a feeling of liberation! While the crowd was applauding, he wanted to be content with his finished piece. However, it didn't quite feel perfect to him. While he could be proud of the beautiful artwork portraying the city of Seattle, this was an advert - a message... This was word from the 'Great Motherfucking Godfather Chairman Constance Bonacieux of Philadelphia'. It wasn't just grafitti, this was a broadcast like no other... and so it needed a final touch. Something to really grip the attention of all who passed by. It was then a eureka moment struck him and he dashed back to the top of his ladder with one tin of paint and his favourite, reliable ol' 5-inch brush. The crowd couldn't believe their eyes, all gasping in shock as he seemingly defaced his beautiful work with big, red, thick letters. However, all became clear when the letters grew to become two simple words, the touch that really brought his piece alive. Bob was not only proud of his art... but the creativity in his recruitment - the urgency of his statement carried well through the boldness of his painting and with that thought, he descended the ladder, took a few steps back to his previous position.... and grinned before addressing the crowd.

"Ladies 'n' gentleman, the City of Seattle is still after three of you big bad-ass mafioso to go forth and build the City into its true strength alongside the three bolds who've already braved the leap! You can achieve anything with two things - brains and guts. Every single one of you have the brains or you wouldn't still be alive in this world that we live in... But which of you have the guts?"
