Vicky watched the cab driver pull up at the headquarters of Godmother-Chairman ConstanceBonacieux. In the corner of her eye, she could see him looking a bit nervous, but Vicky? She wondered why. Maybe he was tense? Did he know who she was meeting up with? She was fine despite the nerves, which she was able to shake off just before stepping out of the vehicle. A quick nod to the driver sent him away. Word of her interest in getting a district in Seattle was expressed to Rafa earlier, and now, here she was. There was no waiting game either. As soon as Vicky tried to get a hold of the Godmother, she was given a prompt reply. And who doesn't like fast repliers?!

As she headed past the gates, and the guards with stern faces holding onto their hip gun holster, she took a deep breath. She headed for the doors, giving it a few knocks, hoping that the person that would answer it would be Constance. Once face to face, she let her words take control paired with a delightful smile.

Greetings, Godmother! I very much appreciate the opportunity you are giving for new faces like me to have the chance to set up their own family. As a leader should, it's about encouraging and motivating the members in this thing of ours to move up in higher positions, and you are doing just that. Something I commend you on. I know we talked earlier through the telegrams, but it's definitely better to see the person that will give you the blessing to move face to face. 

I, uh.. I gotta say though, I almost damn near made the eyes pop of out my accountant's sockets when I told her how much was the initial set-up money. Vicky smiles playfully, shaking her head. It's no problem though. It is a good investment, and as we rise out of the ashes of the previous crewleaders that populated the city, may they rest in peace, I hope that by me coming here - it is one step closer to rebuilding the future of Seattle.

She was aware there was more paperwork to be done before coming over there, but rest assured she would get to it. In addition to the contracts that would need to be signed, she had requested for a special someone to come and help her. Someone she could trust dearly, and for her - that was Beowulf. A high-ranking member from Lust's Ardour in Detroit, but also a long time friend of Vicky. 

And as Vicky finalized everything for the move, there was one last thing to do. She needed a crew name. Law and order, a concept that is definitely uphold somewhat within the mafia community.. Special victims unit? No.. Vicky didn't really deal with cases relating to sexual crimes. Instead, she came up with:

In this thing of ours, criminal based offences are considered especially tiring. In Seattle, the dedicated detectives who provide a comfy HQ for these tired mobsters are members of an elite squad known as the Sleepy Victims Unit. These are their stories.

She sat behind her desk, as usual these days, and penned a quick note to Vicky to be included in a gift basket to be delivered later in the day.

Dear Vicky,

Meeting you was the highlight of my day. Thank you for coming to me and showing interest in the city of Seattle's future. I think you'll do well there. I hope that you and yours do well and have some company there soon.

She gives the note one final read and tucks it in an envelope before handing it to her trusty right hand, Transistor to deliver with the basket of her favourite coffee beans and some fresh biscotti to go with them.

Make sure you get this to the lovely Vicky as soon as possible Transistor, she's going to need it.

Transistor finishes buttoning the last button on his coat before grabbing the envelope from @ConstanceBonacieux and checking his right breast pocket for the plane ticket.
