Isabella is strolling in the streets, and her stomach starts to growl. She wants to eat a nice deli sandwich. There is no other place she would go other that the Meat Market. Her good friend Nicholas works there. She enters the Meat Market and heads towards the back where Nicolas is usually is making sandwiches. Hey there, Nicholas. Miss Isabella, I haven't seen you for a long time. What has been keeping you away from me? I have busy lately with the family. I see, well I am glad you are back, says Nicolas. Now what would you like? I would like a proscuitto sandwich with tomatoes, with fresh mozzarella cheese, and some basil on Italian bread. Nicolas throws his white towel over his shoulder and begins making the sandwich. He prepares the meat and cheese. He takes two pieces of Italian bread and sets them side by side on the counter. He lays the meat and cheese on the bread and sprinkles the basil on top. He puts the sandwich together and wraps it with paper and puts it inside a paper bag. He you go Isa. That is on the house. You are the only one I would let to call me Isa. She kisses him on the cheek and exits the Meat Market. |
