| RH deleting CL posts | Started by: Tammy on Jan 29, '19 14:22 |

Can we block the function of reply and delete for the RHM when he replies on the CL's messages? Or is there a reason for this to be possible? |

Well, probably from a purely RP perspective a RH could choose to fuck over or backstab their CL if they really wanted to. Example: The RH walks into the office of his/her CL and see's a letter sent from the GFC of the city asking them to get a very important task done. The RH, wanting a negative outcome for their CL decides to take the letter and burn it. Maybe they even reply in order to let the GFC know it will be done knowing that the CL will never know, therefore it will not be done. Besides the whole aspect of purposely or accidentally screwing over your CL I'm not too sure what other aspect it plays into. Since even unintentionally people can misplace mail. I don't really see a need to take out this feature, but can't really promote it still being around either. As with most situations regarding a RH/LH it is usually best to pick the right people or if there is an issue just work on it to make sure it is no longer an issue. But like I said, I'm not against removing it since I only see the feature as being able to do something negative. |

What about a feature that simply allows a CL to set certain users mails as "For CL's eyes only"? |

Yep, agree 100%. You don’t want your RHM reading and deleting your mail? Don’t have a RHM. Worried that your RHM might fuck you over? Well this is the mafia, that’s LwYs a possibility, maybe choose someone you trust as your RHM? |

Oh it's not that I don't trust my RH, or that she is not capable! It's just the donuts and cake make her fingers slippery and she accidentally deletes them and can't undelete them anymore. I'd be happy if there was a trashcan to bring stuff back from :) |

What about a Trash Can folder that holds X amount of days of mail marked as deleted? |

I don't think it's necessarily something that Right Hands do on purpose, though it is certainly a viable play if you're looking to intentionally throw some chaos into your CL's life. I more think that it's habit - that the RH's in question are used to hitting Reply + Delete for their own mails and subsequently they reply to all mails in that manner. Either way you spin it, I'm in support of blocking that function or getting something along the lines of what Squishy mentioned. |
