| In the mafia if i remember correctly when a CL died the members would have a nice little game of "kill their way into power". so from what i can see Algernon is doing exactly what a surviving active high ranker of a slain leader would do..... but I don't have a personal opinion on it weather or not to let them live or die. | |

I would rather die trying to avenge my boss, god forbid should he ever fall, then shack up somewhere else just to save my hide. And once vengence has been taken, then what? Wait around to be wacked off for being unsponsored? Or attempt to gain control over those you have worked closley with over an extended period of time. People these days have become so comfortable with killing unsponsered members of the mafia that they do it without thinking. If it was made law not to they wouldn't. We don't do the same to people who are within families, do we? No, because we know better. A little re-education seems to be in order. However, back on my original topic, my family means more to me than my own life, should my leader fall I would stand by those who wish to fight for the State Street name, against the people who decided to take us on and those who wish to train their guns, and I would do so until death takes me or otherwise. |

Memebrs of the community who wish to shoot his fellow family members for being "Unsponsored" No matter how many times a family head advises and threatens not to train their guns on the confused and homeless, they still will. That is the common enemey to a family who wishes to survive, and not let their name die out. |

And pray tell me, how as a "family" are you stopping them? By waging war on any one from any crew that shoots at you? Nice sentiment.... but its again, exactly what I told you it is. Not part of our tradition... and breaking it will get you and everyone else killed and the State Street name wiped out with very little chance of bringing it back. |

What is the name these days if the boss dies? how many families have just given up and decide to work for someone else? A real family, who's head is father to sons who work at his side, of whom have good friends working within their ranks, would not just fall appart. The Right Hand Man should assume control of the HQ, that is all I am saying here. Maybe this man did not go about the task in the correct way, maybe something between the family heads should be established before hand, pre-meditated as to save as many lives as possible, but the theory is logical, and it should be understood among all those trigger happy and eager to get a few notches on their hit record. |

Signore, I am standing up for all those getting caught in the crossfire of confusion, and the greed of those with an ichy trigger finger. The lives being lost because it is not established who should be able to take control, to restore order within the ranks of a family before it is torn appart. If I was ever graced by god and given a family of my own, I would not like to die knowing it would just disband after so much hard work, that it's members would either be cut down or find work elswhere and have to start their lives again. |

Now you are instead offering ideas for amending how things are done. Not a bad idea, something worthy of conversation and perhaps bring up to the attention of the crew leaders. HOWEVER, that does not change the point at hand. Algernon will directly be responsible for the demise of many of those who he wants to protect. The Bottom Line is that you cant go against city hall, when city hall shoots back. |

I love it, honestly I love seeing someone attempt to show the power they have... sadly when they have no power at all it is more of a mockery of the Family leaders who have taken the same stand in the past. Personally I feel if you are capable of caring on the family name then so be it fight for your family but know and understand unless you truly hold the power to keep everyone at bay you are doing nothing more than feeding the other families hit squad. Your heart may be pure but sadly you don't hold the power to keep your family alive and every invite you send out is nothing more than a black dot in the palm of their hand... |
