Becoming Made

It was a clear skies evening in Detroit. We were all at our local hang out until i feel someone’s hand on my shoulder.

“Hey, follow me. Let’s head to the office”

As i looked up I noticed Nexus was the one getting me to follow him. Nexus’s driver’s opens the door for Nexus. Nexus says hey, Godrkz your in the front.

I got a little nervous but grab seat in front. It seemed like this ride was hours but it was merely minutes. We get to an office building where I have never seen before. We head upstairs where I await in a chair.

The door opens and there I see Stony,Nexus and Lust. I grab a seat down at the table where stony motions for me to sit.

"Relax" Stony says as he takes a toke

There was wine. There was a gun. Lust motions us up and we say some words Then Nexus pricks my finger with a pin and squeezes until the blood comes out.

"This blood means that we are now one Family. You live by the gun and you die by the gun. Now you are reborned. This is your new life now."

The day had finally come, it was time for SirGodrikz to be given the button. Lust had informed Nexus earlier on the day, to bring Godrikz over to her office. Nexus knew this had only meant one thing and one thing only, it was time for his good friend Godrikz to be welcomed into the inner circles of Ardour. 

It wasn't too long ago that Nexus had bought Godrikz into the family as a young hoodlum, but his promise, determination and drive was not to be unnoticed, this quickly saw him rise within the ranks of the family, from an associate to a made man. 

Putting on his finest navy pinstriped silk three piece suit, Nexus and his driver headed out towards where Godrikz was hanging out. Nexus knew this was a big day for Godrikz as well as for the family. Although Nexus was excited for his friend, he had to hide the excitement as this was a serious occasion and a life changing day for Godrikz. 

Godrikz, rather sheepishly enters into the car, taking the front seat, with Nexus jumping in the back seat behind. The car ride itself was quiet, barely any words exchanged between the pair, with Godrikz occasionally glancing at the rear mirror. 

After a few short minutes, they had arrived at Ardours headquarters in 12th Street, Detroit. 

Godrikz had followed Nexus up to Lust's office. This is where the initiation into the family would be undertaken. 

After some moments, it became time for Godrikz to embark upon a new chapter in his life, a life with Ardour..

"Welcome to the family, brother" 

As Nexus grabs a glass of whiskey and salutes the newest addition to the family.

Still feeling high of the occasion, the adrenaline kicks in

“Nexus, Fratello. can we walk and talk?”

They begin to walk and talk outside the building. It was a very common thing to happen in this thing of ours due to the FBN always trying to listen in. it was just a couple of years ago where SirGodrikz did a little stint in prison for low level drug pushing. 

“Listen, I know of a couple scores we could hit soon to raise our cash flow and the kick up. Fratello With my new Button and raise in ranks, I need a mark. This could be it. Take a few days to think about it. I will set up some guys let’s meet at my social club”

SirGodrikz and Nexus walk back towards the Ardour Headquarters. SirGodrikz leans into for a hand shake and a kiss kiss on each cheek.
