| A Colorful 60 Seconds List | Started by: CeceliaBriggs on Feb 05, '19 03:39 |

Now I'm not sure if this is the direction we wish to go in with the game, but I feel like some (a sizable group of?) people generally do this anyway: Color coding the 60 second list by home city
My current setup is such that members of a crew that are the CL, RHM, or LHM are designated by their city color. Usually I'd have it so made+ are, but I'll admit I've been lazy recently. I can already see questions for Loaded BGs, durds, and so on. Although I'm sure I could come up with some answers on the fly, I'm more curious to see what others would like. Should the 60 second list be color coded by home city? If so, who should get colored? Should durdens get colored? Should Loaded BGs? The Halloween event has already got colors for the monsters, so would that orange conflict with Seattle, and is that an important issue? Moreover, what about new players, should they have a special color? I think it's a fun idea to help the regular player see what city has a sizable population on at that current time, or perhaps it can be used to plan attacks(!), or maybe the colors look pretty. Thoughts? |

| Against this for the simple fact ive spent many days color coating over my time here. I believe if a person puts in the work they should be rewarded with faster position in locals. Dont believe such thing should be given at the click of a button. | |

Oooh good point! I would be against this carrying over into locals. That seems like it would make things a bit *too* easy. |

So are you referring to just the 60 second list? Even with that it takes away from the work of organizing each individual player. Can always go to a CL profile and highlight their crew (made+ of course) and add to designated contacts. |

Yes, only for the 60 second list. And yes, that's what I have done in the past. It's not all that much work, more the maintenance of it. This is for general quality of life, and can help people familiarize themselves with who's living with them in their cities. // Anywho, after brief discussion it seems like it's superfluous as an addition. I was more using this forum as a litmus test, and obviously it came back red. Or is that blue? Sure glad we didn't have to figure out what'd happen for colorblind people! Thanks all. |

I've always coloured every name in the 60s by their Home City. While I agree the contact groups could do with an update, I don't think these should be organised by colour/city automatically. It's actually a huge help to have all of the names colour coded by city and I think those willing to put that small effort in should be rewarded the advantage of it. |
