Ill make this simple. Showing who killed the Rogue on IRC imo is pointless, Its an easy way to keep track of who is building for the regime. If we had more of an anon factor to it, i think more builders who dont want to get caught building a gun will go for it. I dont really have a specific suggestion per say but im hoping someone can come out and help with one. |

I feel that rogue is a bonus and needs risks, that risk is that it is public knowledge. If you want to remove that risk, then I need to introduce something in exchange like wackback death on it, or it can return fire, or you need the actual stats to hit it, or be in its location and so on. I don't think it should be a free +1 without anything at all required. If you are worried that someone may know you got +30 Rogues this month, then refrain from shooting so that no one knows :/ |

Yes... Please bring back wackback death. I think its a fair compromise for making the Rogue less public. |

I think the Rogue is fine as is, like squishy says the visibility of it balances out that it's basically a free +1. If you are trying to build without anyone knowing then hit fewer or no Rogues. As for wackback death, please don't bring it back, on the rogue or otherwise. |

Whether you're a hard builder or not, trying to hide it or not, I think the rogue spawns are a great sport for those who actively frequent the lounge/IRC. The free +1 you get from killing it is great, of course, but I think the fun lies in the competition of out-shooting everyone. It's something everyone can get involved in and all that's required is you have a gun and remain somewhat active. I don't think it needs changing at all.
I'm a daring bastard so I'm not completely opposed to seeing a return of WB death, but that's probably a discussion for another thread. |
