We took a good sized chunk of our November credit sales and helped out 5 families today who could use a little holiday cheer.
Thanks to the players of MR - we were able to purchase a full Thanksgiving spread for 5 families in the local South Jersey area. Thanks to the dedication of our users - there will be a little more smiles on Thursday. For those not in the US - Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated on this coming Thursday where friends and family gather to celebrate a bountiful year. As you all know, the US economy has taken a severe downturn and with the huge loss of jobs - large family dinners like this are not always an option. Regardless of your situation, every deserves to celebrate the holidays with thier loved ones over a traditional holiday feast. Now - 5 families can sit down with a big ass Mafia Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, vegetables (...eww), dinner rolls, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, gravy, and when mixed with a little family love and you have all the ingredients needed for a good time with the family.

In this greedy society we live in, it's good to see some folks still out there with some true holiday cheer. Kudos to you, Squishy, and the MR staff. I absolutely love this. |

Well done to you all (Staff and people that put their hard earned cash into the game).
As has been said, its so refreshing to see that not everyone out there is focused on themselves at such times and you are generous enough to give back to your community. Kudos. |

This, among many other reasons, is why I love this community so much. This brought tears to my eyes, because I've seen many people that I care about, in the same situation as the people you've donated to. Thank you for helping to show exactly what this time of year is about and for reminding me just why I still believe in human kindness and selflessness. |

Its good to hear that money donated to the site actually makes a difference and doesn't just gets pocketed.
I bet those crappy games on Facebook can't post anything like this. Kudos

Truly an excellent gesture and well done to the admin/staff etc for the contribution. Well done also to the members who contributed, I'm sure those 5 families are extremely grateful, I for one love family occasions so I hope it was a fantastic occasion for them too. Good job |
