Race Street Pier was once the heart and soul of the operation now run out of South Philadelphia. Connie observed the gathering hard hats and dirty vests, consulting and surveying the bitter remains of what once was. Looking to the others gathered on the docks, she felt necessary to address them.

"Good evening all. My name is Connie Mezzo, brother to Mr. Louis Mezzo who as you know, is manager of operations under Race Street Properties, Inc. in South Philadelphia.

"Once this pier was a feature point of Race Street. Established in July '18 and hosting an array of interactive opportunities. What these fine gentlemen are present for today is to assess the damage of the fire which ripped through it at Christmas, an incident which culminated in the loss of a lot of veteran faces from South Philadelphia.

"While they seek to rebuild the material aspects of this structure, my cohorts and I wish to rejuvenate the heart of what this location once stood for. We used to issue cash paying jobs, host scavenger hunts, sponsor and populate your businesses be they near or far and at one point launched some obscenely ambitious boxing tournament which saw $320,000,000 paid out in bets. There was also the opportunity to raid our business locations and reap the rewards."

She looked out across the faces, a brief glance back at the pier.

"We love this place, and simply put, we want to know what you want from our efforts. Do you want boxing? Do you want jobs? Do you want pie? Do you want something new?"
