The small shop in front of you sits in what was clearly once a house before the metal grind of progress began to take over the town. Now it had become a last beacon of sunshine among the dingy grey smoke stacks. It was a bright blue once, that seems to have faded to a baby blue over time, and there was most certainly a few folks living upstairs from the flower shop below.

As soon as you walk in the smell of the bouquet hits you like a brick wall. Funerals, Valentine's Day, Birthday, Anniversary, all kinds of banners all over the back wall. Every holiday you can imagine, and some you're sure they made up just to sell flowers. But hey, business is business, and in this little shop it would seem, business was busy. It was a sweet smell, and a sweet sight. The young man, Joe, who was trimming a bouquet to be sent out later today looked up at you and smiled as soon as you walked in. He was the son of the couple who lived upstairs, and he did most of the work, but it was work he clearly loved.

There was a book on the counter, and he calmly opens it for you, allowing you to leaf through the pages to select the arrangement you want. The drawings inside were quite stunning in fact. Joe truly was the artistic type, and it showed in both the drawings and in the flowers.

"So, did Billy send ya here today? He told me to take care of his friends after all, and any friend of Billy's is a friend of mine."

Joe gives you a bright smile and waits for you to make your selection.

(OOC: Please feel free to take agency over Joe, or either or both of his two parents, Alton and Lynn. Have fun with it.)

Claire walked up the stairs of the faded old house and pushed open the front door. Inside, an explosion of colors and scents greeted her, and in moments, she found herself lost in Joe's book of drawings.

Funeral arrangement? Too morose, but funny, which was what she was going for. She bookmarked that section and moved on to the next. Birthday? Not quite. Anniversary arrangements were too classy for what amounted to an elaborate pun, so Claire kept going. The Valentines were by far the most elaborate and breathtaking, but that wasn't her intended purpose, either. Finally, she looked up at Joe and smiled.

"Alright. I've got a strange request. Can you do a cheesy looking hybrid arrangement, one that covers both birthday and funeral, maybe a little bit congratulatory as well?"

Joe studied her a long moment, then plucked the pencil from behind his ear and turned to a blank page in the book. In moments, an obnoxiously humorous deathday arrangement was borne upon the page.

"Wow! That's... yes. It's perfect! Obviously a gag arrangement, but you've managed to make it kind of pretty nonetheless. Think it'll hold up on a plane?"

After Claire paid, Joe went to work on his odd request, and within the hour, the floral arrangement was taking a ride in a refrigerated shipping truck, headed towards Brooklyn's Oppai Towers.
