My idea is a simple one and for the sake of realism within the game, yes I know Chief Keef is running the Glo Gang in 1920 there’s nothing I can do about it. Anyways back to my suggestions, I think that a players level should be hidden from anyone who isn’t in their family, and here’s why: 1. It makes no sense for everyone in the world to know just how many drugs units you can move, which in this thing of ours corresponds with how active they are as well as possibly how wealthy they are. 2. It will add another level of espionage to the game, because if a family is going to let someone join their family from another city or do a transfer that person can now tell wherever they’re going just how active and what level everyone within that family is. 3. Just for the sake of realism, you can know what rank someone is within a crime family, Capo, Boss, whatever but you won’t know if they’re ready for the next level and they’re being held back or don’t wanna advance or if they are right at the minimum requirement. All in all I think this can just add another level of security as well as a shroud of confidentiality around a family. |

Could you expand on, mechanically, this would benefit the game - a gun is a gun, doesn't make you more powerful the higher rank/level you are - and if they see that you were a wise guy, now you're Boss. if they know the number of wacks they'll just add 10/20/etc with the original number they had to take you out, it doesn't really matter all that much.
Realisim part of it - i get that, but functionality - it doesn't matter if it's hidden or not. |

If you mean rank does not affect gun, that is incorrect. |
