Hey Pericolo, I can't sleep. Meet me at the 7-11 on the corner. After the quick phone call to her friend Jordan put on her coat and left her apartment. It was late and the street was dark, but she wasn't worried about walking to the corner alone. She felt safer walking down State Street than an old lady felt after leaving church on Sunday afternoon. At the corner a light was shining over the door of the 7-11 store. Jordan walked in and waved at the clerk behind the counter. Pericolo walked in a minute after her. Together they went to their favorite part of the store, the candy aisle. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. I guess I'll be up all night until the business festival starts in a few hours. Jordan talked to Pericolo as she picked up a chocolate candy bar and put it in her coat pocket. I hope a lot of people show up for the festival. We put a lot of work into it. I think Johnny has the easiest job. He's going to be in Fisk_Capizzi's bar, Little Place on State Street through out the day buying drinks for people and talking about business. If anyone ever wanted to have a drink with the infamous JohnnyAxe they'll get a chance to do that during the festival. Jordan spotted her favorite gum, picked up a pack and opened it. She offered a piece of the gum to Pericolo. I'm not sure what my butcher has planned, but he told me it's going to be a blood, gore and freak show in the basement of The Chicago Butcher Shop. I hope he doesn't scare too many people away. The last time I saw him working in the basement I had nightmares about it for a week. They walked to a cooler where Jordan grabbed a bottle of Coca Cola and opened it. Do you have your deal set up in Miller's Pub, Peri? |

Pericolo popped a piece of the gum into her mouth and smiled at her friend. It was almos tradition now to come to the 7/11 late at night and stock up on sugary treats. The clerk turned the other way or put his head in the local newspaper. He knew if he started anything all he'd get was trouble. Pericolo smacked her gum loundly around in her mouth till Jordan gave her that look. Sorry She shrugged with a sheepish look on her face. I'm excited about tomorrow also, chewing gum seems to be one of the only legal things that keeps me calm. Pericolo could feel the bag of pot aching to come out and play, but she kep it hidden. When you phoned I had just gotten in from Miller's Pub. I had posted the instructions for the drinks and dates. I found some raffel tickets in the back closet and thought they would be perfect to randomly select a dater. Pericolo slipped a few sweettarts into her pocket and giggled at the thought of TheCaptain. I'm really glad he agreed to do this with me, I hope we get a lot of people in the pub tomorrow. Did you hear about Shedao is honering another saint? I think it's Keats. |

Yes, Saint Keats! Jordan took a drink from the bottle of Coca Cola and picked up a bag of potato chips. She opened it as she smiled thinking about Keats being named as a Saint. SuperSao has a contest planned in his business, Mr. Maggorium's Portrait Emporium. He's going to make a portrait for the winner. He makes great photos. They returned to the candy aisle where Jordan picked up a handful of tootsie rolls and put them in her pocket. The end of the festival is going to be fun too. You're going to bribe the cops for a few crackdowns, right? I'm going to get a suite in The Jackles Lounge for an after festival party. The custom decorated suites are going to be 50% of the regular price. I'll make sure it has a well stocked bar. Jordan and Pericolo walked to the front of the store where the clerk was pretending to read a newspaper. Jordan leaned close to Pericolo to whisper to her. Distract him while I grab a couple of packs of cigarettes for us. |

Pericolo leaned her arms onto the counter, bowing her head into the newspaper and almost bumping heads with the clerk. Hey, anything good in their? She asked keeping his eyes locked on hers. She felt Jordan brush past her and grab a few packs down the counter from them. Looks like nothin interesting, might as read the tabloid. Pericolo picked up from the pile on the counter, folded it in half and stuck it under her arm. Jordan went out the door first, Pericolo right behind her. Just as she was almost out of the door she blew a kiss to the clerk and moved her left eye into a quick wink. Thanks for everything! Have a great night! She called back to the boy as Jordan and her giggled off into the night popping sweet into their mouths. |

Fisk mulls around Chicago outside Little Place on State Street and starts heckling people "Hey guys, you might not want to so much as talk business with Don Axe as much as you could just get him drunk... That could be funny" |

A few hours after her middle of the night trip to the 7-11 store Jordan went out on the fire escape outside of her apartment with a cup of coffee in her hand. The first thing she noticed on the street below was Keats skipping towards Fisk's bar, Little Place on State Street. He looked happy as he danced around a street light post then skipped into the bar. Johnny's car stopped near the bar and Johnny got out. Soon after his arrival Jordan saw Belle. 'I bet she's trying to steal my man.' Jordan thought and shook her head. She walked back into her apartment and called Pericolo. Peri, I just saw Belle follow Johnny into Fisk's bar. Do you know if there's something going on with them? I suspected he's been seeing another woman behind my back, but I thought it was Cathy_Parks, not Belle. I'll get even with that two timer. Meet me in Miller's Pub in an hour. I want to buy one million dollars worth of raffle tickets to win a date with TheCaptain. |

Belle walks out of the bar onto the sidewalk to have a smoke. After she lights her cigarette and takes that first puff, she looks up and sees Jordan standing on her balcony. Belle waves to Jordan as she's always done, but notices that Jordan wasn't smiling at all this time. Hey, Jordan? What's with the scowl this afternoon? Do ya need more coffee? Belle sees that Jordan isn't responding, only glaring at Belle. Jordan proceeds to pour her coffee out, and let it fall down to the sidewalk below her. Jordan calls back "Nah, I don't need any more coffee. But I do want to meet you down in the bar in a couple hours." Belle wonders what she did to make her friend so upset. She thinks about it for a second and realizes that her hand Johnny had been in the bar talking for quite awhile. Then again so has everone else, so she scratches that from her mind. I know Jordan isn't that jealous, especially around people she already knows. Belle finishes her smoke and walks back into the bar, waiting for Jordans arrival in a bit. |
