After a long day sorting beans she finally got to sit down. Letting out a heavy sigh she poured herself a drink. Tonight she had to make a big decision. Who would she send to NY? Wanting to keep with her trend of fresh faces getting leadership opportunities she had decided to go with her gut and have a chat with her old friend TinyTim about MustachePete. She'd known Pete's family for quite some time and he had proven to be very helpful during wars and "rogue times". He'd shown her loyalty, dedication, stamina, and determination in his short time in Philly and New York. She and Tim talked for a bit and he agreed that Pete would be a great addition to Chicago. She knew Tim would miss his trusty Left Hand, but in the end, he gave in when she offered to send him some of her finest beans and bacon. She knew this would rock a few boats and piss a few people off, but she had a gut feeling that Chicago was in need of a little bit of old and new. Pete could bring that with him. Picking up the phone she dialed his number and let him know that he could go ahead and move. She headed out to the Streets to start getting the word around that Pete was good to go and had her full support in his new venture. She approached a KingOfMeatPopsicles and whispered in his ear... Hey, guess what? Pete's setting up in Chicago, sending him to The Loop. Can you help me get the word around? Carrying on down the Street she mentioned it to a few others with smiles and handshakes. Being one of more work than words she snuck back to her HQ to enjoy a quiet night with a few chocolate covered coffee beans while drinking red wine and doing a puzzle before bed. |

Before heading to bed she tucked a few packages of the chocolate covered treats, a few bags of her favourite beans, and a pound of her most beloved maple smoked bacon into a basket and sent a courier with it to Tiny_Tim and his family. Turning to her precious kitty Pixel she smiled. Well Miss P. It's wine time! Are you joining me? |

After finally waking up from his drunken binge he comes home to the HQ he decided to buy on a bet with ConstanceBonacieux the night before. I can't believe I spent all that money on a huge HQ in Chicago where my grandfather once lived. I would have to say I have not regretted this particular decision, unlike my usual bad decisions that occur when Oldboy takes us out on the town. Thankfully Constance was in better shape than I when she guided my hand to sign the contract.
We will do our best to make you proud Constance and yet one more time Thank you so much for the gift you have given me.

| Well done Pete. Maybe ConstanceBonacieux could also have mentioned why her city removed the previous incumbents... | |

Tim looks around the HQ for the food Constance left for him. He went into the kitchen area and found a basket. As he pulls back the napkin covering the goodies he finds a note instead. Dear Tiny_Tim, Thanks for the food! Pete!
Damn that man thought Tiny_Tim.
It was at that point that Johnny_Ray walked in and told Tiny_Tim not to worry. He switched out the food and replaced it with some other food which he was proud that he dosed with a strong laxative. Should be a Sh$#y night for Pete.
"I am going to like this new LHM" thought Tim. |

Noticing that Miss KaraDanvers had attempted to throw some shade her way she grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from her handbag and hastily scribbles down a map and hands to the lovely young woman. First, you go down three blocks to First Ave, turn left onto Main Street, and then hang a right onto Granville Street. You'll find a recording of Joe_Ligambi's explanation for the removal of Chicago entitled "For What It's Worth" playing in a cafe popular with the younger folk. I've heard they have a great schnitzel at a very affordable price. I hope you can find your way and wish you well. I hope you have a fantastic and amazing day. Hearing the dinner bell signal her return to the HQ for some of KOMP's fall off the bone ribs she turns on her heal and saunters off. |

Oh I heard Joe's mumblings of nonsense, thanks. I didnt hear any contribution from you or yours as to why Philly got involved, though? You know, that big bad threat of Chicago with a few Cls that didnt have a single decent gun amongst them, but was worthy enough of the two strongest cities to come wading in to kill them? Seems disproportionate to me really. So I was hoping you could take some time away from your bacon and stuff to tell us all why it was so necessary and what big scary threats were due to emerge from such a small weak city. You know, a City that had no IA list such was their lack of focus on killing. Those crazy almost peaceful guys that were actually more likely to help you than hurt you. Considering Rogues (thats the reason we're being fed, right?) came from Philly but none from Chicago, yet Chicago helped to hunt and take them down. What exactly is that could possibly be on the horizon that deemed removal of the city not only worth it, but bad enough to not be spoken about truthfully? You've been around long enough to understand that lack of words in such a matter makes you look quite pathetic really. You are someone whom I had a lot of respect for, it's been badly tainted now sadly. I would never have expected such a poor show from such old blood. Gone are the days of old i guess, when even the old guard can't be arsed to give such simple decent reasoning. Oh well. |
