Ive had one experience...

I was working on a special project.

From my desk I hear coughing from the floor above me.

Our building was a converted firehouse, where someone died when the hay loft caught fire. The same general area I heard the coughing.

I was the only person in the building.

Hell yea, I used to live in a haunted house. Could not sleep worth a shit at night

Can't say I encountered any, though apparently I work in a very haunted place, with some co-workers swearing they have 1) heard a woman crying just outside window (I heard this story at least 3 times from different people), 2) rustling of papers in the linen closet where the coworker was taking a nap, 3) been pinned down by said ghost during night shifts (sounds like night terrors to me but you know). I was one time taking a nap in the seclusion room and the light in the en-suite bathroom just flicked on without obviously anyone being there, but nothing actually came to visit me. Maybe the ghost really needed the toilet ;-)

Ghosts do not exist, just the mind playing tricks and people reading too much into certain experiences.
