The Grande Ballroom: A Godmother in Corktown Started by: Billy_Mastrosimone on Mar 12, '19 15:55

Holdng a glass in one hand and a stick with prawn on it in the other - he seems to enjoy the festivities - though it doesn't involve his knife, taken at the checkpoint before entering the building - he seems left out as everyone else seemingly keeps their weapon close. Missing his steel friend - Chocco walks around - not really knowing many people, he only glances yet willing to explain to anyone if they attempt to greet, that there are twelve dimensions while everyone is only in the fith.

Regarding his rattling on, he hears the elequant speach given by Billy as he see's people congratulate - not really being apart of the crowd yet knowing that maybe if he tried to be normal - he would be accepted, he raises his glass and congratualting the well earned Godmother.

Rebecca took a moment from greeting all of the guests, to draw in a deep breath and have another look around.  The night had been a whirlwind that had all been arranged by her dear friend and captain, Billy_Mastrosimone.  It was just one more thing she would never be able to repay him for doing for her.  She truly did not think she would be capable of running Corktown without him.  He was her closest friend next to her husband.

So many had traveled far and wide to be with her in celebration and to offer tribute.  Such was the nature of this thing of theirs -- a show of respect.  Rebecca mentally took note of each individual who had attended the event.  She would need to thank each later for coming.  It was a way that she too, could also so them respect for their place on these shores.

From across the way, Rebecca's eyes connected with those of her Right-Hand Man, KTI-.  She smiled at him and gave him a nod.  The man had gone from being a complete stranger to her when they were back in Philly, to an essential member of her crew and the Ligambi family.  He was the quintessence of a mobster.  Everything she could ever ask for in a loyal member of her family.  He too was creating a list of things for which she would never be able to repay.

Looking around she sought out the one man, who made all of this possible.  The one man she loved and who had given her this chance to reach this height, Joe_Ligambi.
