His words were so kind, and full of genuine concern. She couldn't help but smile and look up to him- though there was a glint of sadness in her eyes.

"Billy. Thank you, you are really too kind. A good man. I'll be alright- I had one of the guys call me a cab after I arrived. It's just outside, really."

With that, she wished him a good night and started down the hallway.

"What takes you so long? You only have to tell him about his man. Women. You talk too much."

Ilya was clearly annoyed at having to sit in the car for more than an hour in the rain. Eva didn't say anything immediately, just got into the back of the car and shook the rain out of her hair. As the blonde dropped his cigarette to the pavement and got into the car, Eva looked up at the window with a dim light coming from it, where Billy's living room would be. Guilt beat down on her spirit like the rain did on the windshield. Looking down into her lap, she sighed and rode away in the long, blue sedan.
