Jordan walked out of the crowded bar, Little Place on State Street with a bottle of champagne. She stood on the corner of State Street and Madison Avenue to make an announcement. Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm very proud to announce my boss and the love of my life, JohnnyAxe has reached the honorable rank of Don. As members of the State Street Mob and other associates in the business gathered around Jordan she spotted the new Don in the crowd and waved at him. When he approached her Jordan reached out and took his hand. Johnny, you've been working hard for this. It's well deserved. I'm happy to see you successful and be the first person in your bloodline to be Don. You are an inspiration to all mafiosi in the city of Chicago. We love working for you and being a part of your family. Congratulations on this achievement. Keats stumbled out of Little Place on State Street with a bottle of rum in his hand. Jordan laughed as she pointed to him. I'd also like to congratulate Johnny's Right Hand Man, Keats on his new rank, Consigliere. Jordan paused for a moment. She felt like something or someone was missing from the happy occasion in Chicago. I think if Oliver was here he would be proud of you both and would probably want me to keep this speech short so we can start celebrating. Jordan smiled at the new Don of Chicago and hugged him before others stepped forward to congratulate him. |

Belle sees the crowd gathering around Jordan. As she walks over she sees Johnny and Keats standing next to her. She noticed that Joedan was talking about the new Don, which also happens to be her boss. Congratulations to the both of you. Not to mention Jordan, who's also wearing a new tailor made pant suit. Well, done. I can't tell you how proud I am of you all. Belle walks over and gives Johnny, Keats and Jordan big hugs |

Mesk was in next in-line, wile sitting talking on the phone to his wife peggyskeleton Peggy, hunny, i have to congratulate the boss on his promotion, look this may just get us a little extra cash on the weekends, means we can buy extra drugs etc..., look i have to go ill speak to you when i get home... The following is taken from The Mafia Encyclopedia: Some newsmen have traced the rise of a particular mobster upward in importance with a crime family until they finally announce he has been made a don. In that sense the don is the most capable leader of a group. Within the divisions of a crime family the soldiers following a particular capo or under boss might refer to him as "Don." The title of don derives from Italy; it is a title of respect and honour all over southern Italy and Sicily and, for that matter, Spain. Although comments in the press and by law enforcement officials posit the title of "Don" as a specific position in the Mafia hierarchy, it has nothing to do with the structural make-up of the mob. As a matter of personal vanity some mobsters want to be addressed by the title. Thus Vito Genovese was referred to as Don Vito. Joseph Barbara Sr. the host of the notorious Apalachin crime conference, was often called Don Giuseppe, a recognition of the fact that he was for many years an important member of the Buffalo Magaddino family. The title don was sometimes cynically applied. In the early years of the syndicate, for instance, Genovese bridled at the increasing number and power of Jewish chieftains, and when Frank Costello suggested the Luciano-Lansky forces bring in the powerful Dutch Schultz, Genovese screamed, "What the hell is this? What're you tryin' to do, load us up with a bunch of Hebes?" Before Luciano, Meyer Lansky and Bugsy Siegel, Costello wheeled on Genovese and said very quietly, "Take it easy, Don Vitone, you nothin' but a fuckin' foreigner yourself." It was the custom thereafter of both Costello and Luciano and occasionally some other important boss, to call Genovese Don Vitone when they wanted to rub his nose in the dirt. Genovese Venever forgot this and his personal vendetta against Costello would extend over some three decades, always obsessed by the Don Vitone affront, until he masterminded the attempt on Costello's life. Costello himself was often referred to as Don Francesco by mobsters and even by columnist Walter Winchell. Costello was a very tight-lipped gambler and often had information on a good thing, and when he did, other mobsters found the one way to get him to share the information was to ask, "Have any good tips, Don Francesco?" Costello could seldom resist such flattery and would share his hot information—although it inevitably cut into the odds he would receive. In their twilight years these men were accorded the title of don and although they no longer did anything except sit around in lounge chairs, Patriarca saw they got their cut from some kind of racket. And when they were needed in a crisis they were called to a meeting, just to get their thinking since they knew the nuances of mob mentality around the country. In this sense the concept of don has remained uncorrupted within the Mafia from its meaning in the old country. It is more than just a title. Congratulations Mr Axe |

There was little Johnny could do to keep from smiling. The promotion was such a surprise, and never had he been subject to such an onslaught of congratulations. Everywhere he looked, he saw his friends and his family offering words of support and appreciation or the occasional drink. He waited until the group quieted down a bit before speaking. Thank you all very much for joining me in celebration. As wonderful as I feel to have finally become a Don, today truly has been magnificent for reasons far more important to me than that: I have been given the opportunity to promote several very deserving members of my family to the rank of Consigliere. I am proud to have these fine Mafiosi within the family. They have become so much more than associates, and I could never express how grateful I am to have them. I wish you all would show them as much appreciation and respect as you all have shown me. Congratulations Keats, FlyingWig, Southsider, and Jordan. |
