It had been nearly a year and half since that one night. BBYGRL was never the same after that night. It wasn't the sight of the U.F.O that changed her life or maybe it was. All she remembers is that she saw a bright light in the park went on a binge drinking to cope with it and woke up paralyzed from the waist down, but with a nice little gift I guess you could call it. All she had to do was think about an object moving and it did. It was odd and scared her at first. The thank you letters she received from people while she was recovering in the hospital at least made sense now. Apparently she would sense someone was behind a locked door while she was in a coma and then all she did was think about the lock coming undone and it did. She always thought this was dream she had while in that state of coma for those months. Then one day she thought how nice it would be if a lock on a armored money truck came open would be. She was staring at the truck thinking these thoughts and then the doors in the back swung open. Her thoughts swam through her head as she rolled her chair down the sidewalk the take from the van secure in her pannier bags. Ha she laughed at herself she went from hell on heels to hell on wheels. One good thing about being in a wheel chair is that people did not suspect the cripple woman in the chair of anything. Perceived innocence just because of her handicap, she used this to her advantage. |

BBYGRL sat there in her wheeled-chair in an unobtrusive spot as she watched the people in the bank. She needed someone to get her into the safety deposit box room. She patted the pannier bag nearest to her, it was one of several she had arranged around her chair. They made it easier for her to do a job like this. She spotted her mark, the bank manager as he walked she rolled her chair to be just barely in his path. As soon as he got close she rambled on. "I need your help sir, I am not if it is this chair or if the tellers just see my size and assume I don"t warrant any service. I have been trying to get service to get into my safety deposit box for sometime and not received even acknowledgment when I am at the counter." She looked up at him with pouty eyes and bright lips flashing a smile" Please sir, I just want to get the contents of my safety deposit box."
The bank manager looked down his nose at her as she told her story. When she finished he looked up at the nearest teller and snapped his fingers. The male closed his windows and approached the two. " Yes, Mr. Caldwell what can I do?" Mr.Caldwell was not happy that a patron of the bank had been waiting for service. " Take this woman to her safety deposit box, leave the room and give her privacy as she goes through her things. Oh and Mr. Jones the next time a customer comes to me dissatisfied you are fired." Mr. Jones moved behind BBYGRL's wheelchair and pushed to her to the safety deposit room grumbling about dissatisfied customers. He pushed her into the room asked if there was anything else he could do , she politely turned him down and asked for her privacy as Mr.Caldwell had promised. Mr.Jones left the room closing the door behind and waited outside the door as was customary when a patron was in the safety deposit room. BBYGRL sat in her chair and looked at he two lower levels of safety deposit boxes as she thought about the locks opening. A low click filled her ears as she smiled watching a few of the doors open slightly. She rolled nearer the wall of boxes and proceeded to empty the contents of the boxes into her pannier bags. She hauled out cash , and various gemstones, she even found some gold certificates. She would make a complete list later of the take on this heist. As she emptied each box she closed them. Finished she wheeled over to the door and gave it a small rap. Mr.Jones opened the door and she shoved her empty safety deposit into his arms as she told. " Tell Mr.Caldwell I am closing my account at this bank. Tell him it because I had to wait so long for service." She wheeled herself past Mr.Jones ad the sweat started beading on his forehead , she knew he did not want Mr.Caldwell that after he threatened to fire him. |

BBYGRL pulled the lobby door to her where her flat was, she proceeded to roll into the building. Pushing her chair past the lobby elevators and towards the back. She rolled her wheelchair up to the freight elevator. Reaching down she pulled the door up and then flung it hard so it would go all the way up. She placed each hand on a wheel and slowly rolled her chair into the elevator. Continuing to maneuver the chair she then rolled the tires so the chair would spin around. She pushed herself forward and pulled the elevator gate down. BBYGRL punched the number 3 and the elevator lurched as it started pulling her up. The elevator finally stopped and BBYGRL exited the elevator right into her apartment. It was the best accommodations she could find that had a big enough space for her to use her chair. There was furniture here and there for those rare visitors she had. The kitchen area was a great span of area also wide open and all the cupboards were placed within reach from a wheelchair. To the left of the kitchen was another space but this was closed off with two double doors, this was her sleeping space.
BBYGRL rolled her chair over to the mahogany desk and started emptying her pannier bags. The heist she had pulled off at Caldwell's bank looked to be more lucrative than she had thought. Maybe she would pull this kind of job again. Maybe she could use some of the loot as a tribute to the Godmother that ran her area. Rebecca Ferrari, yes that was the name she had heard on the streets. Maybe BBYGRL could make a tribute to her and she would find it in her grace to bring her into the family and provide her protection from the law and other undesirables. That would be ideal thought BBYGRL as she made two piles of the loot. One stack was anything that had to be cleaned money , bonds and such. The other pile was loot like gemstones, and jewelry and some odd coin that seemed out of place. BBYGRL decided to keep the second pile and send the first pile as tribute to Godmother Ferrari. She bundled up the first pile into a medium sized box. This could be a new adventure for the wheeled psychokinetic. |
