Johnny left the State Street Mob headquarters and walked a few blocks over to the community stage (thanks, Mr_47). He climbed the steps and walked to its center. The hollow sound of his footsteps on the wooden structure was soon muffled by the murmurings of those that gathered to hear the Don of Chicago speak.
Thank you all for joining me here at such a disgusting time of day. I have an announcement to make, which I feel is worthy of this immediate assemblage.
Many of you are aware of the gods' intent to implement a new system for family structures. It's being called the "godfather system" in which within a city, one large family has smaller divisions of the same family to house its lower-ranked members. You may recall something similar in the Red Fez Connection's Morocco Mole Division (headed by the late Mystery). I'm happy to announce that today will begin each my family's transformation into a comparable organization.
Anyone that wishes to join the State Street Mob will have to go through one of my two Capos. The first of which is Belle, and her crew--the Midway Syndicate--will be looking after my family's interests in Chicago's southside. I have worked with Belle for some time now and it is my sincere belief that she has proven herself capable of excelling in this role. My second Capo will be setting up in a few days and I will announce him then.
As every crime family elects to incorporate this system, there will be plenty of space and selection for those fresh off the boat and looking to enter the glamorous life of the Mafia.
Now, I'm sure Belle would like to say a few words about the Midway Syndicate.

Belle looks at her watch and realizes that she is almost late to her own introduction. She rushes over to Don Axe who had just finished his speech and was stepping down from the stage.

Belle walks over to the stage and walks up the steps and smiles as she clears her throat.
First of all, let me thank everone for gathering at this odd hour. Let me start off by introducing, The Midway Syndicate. The goal of The Midway Syndicate is not only to house our younger mafioso, but to groom them into fine men and women of this life of ours. To teach Honor, Respect and dignity as they walk the streets and bars of our beautiful six cities. Then when I feel they are ready to move up in this world, I will send them up to Johnny and the State Street Mob so that they may prosper and grow even more with each passing day.
I will get a feel for what each individual is looking for, as well as molding them and guiding them in this Mob life. As we all know, it's not the life of lavish luxury. Each and every day we are getting down and dirty, trying to make that buck so that we can pass it up to our bosses and wait for our cuts. It's a never ending process as all of us older mafioso know but it's our way of life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. So, my hopes and aspirations are to teach our younger, and maybe even fresh off the boat the ways of our world.
So without further ado, it is my honor to present to Chicago's Southside The Midway Syndicate
