This would be a small change from what already exists in the game.

My idea is that on the drop down menus on the Crew Leaders crew page there be added another option to "Give Perma BG/Wack Auth".  At the moment the only way to get perma auth is for the member to request it and the CL grant that request.  I think that's great and should be left in.  I just think that when war situations come up this aspect can be a little confusing to new players when they are asked to pro someone and told "Get perma auth" in a quick mail as that CL dashes back to war.  This would alleviate some of that confusion. 

It could also be used as a reward for someone reaching a certain rank/kill count/earnings/or otherwise.  Instead of said member hitting their mile stone the CL can say "Great job X, I'm giving you perm auth because I trust you" instead of "Great job X, now request perma auth so I can reward you."

Just a small idea that I had in the shower this morning.  I think both options are good and adding this in doesn't really change anything but the perception and flow of how perma authed is given.

Frankly I think almost everyone here can testify that nobody really asks for perma wack auth ever... Until wars happen. 

As such I agree with this suggestion.  

This is how it should always have been. I agree we should leave the ability to request auth too, but I don't see any reason we can't just grant auth as CLs.

What about RHM? Currently they can accept perm auth requests, should they also be given the right to just hand it out wiithout a request? While I can't see why they shouldn't, I quite like the idea of this being a CL-only button.

Good point BobRoss.  Maybe CL/RH/LH can all give permanent auth?  Maybe LH is a stretch but it would make the position feel more important.

I'd love to see something more added to LHM to give the role a bit more importance but IDK how I feel about LHs handing out perm auth. It'd definitely have me taking more consideration into who I put into LH in future, though.

I only mentioned LH because sometimes the position feels like you are playing third sting quarterback.  No real action and almost never hit the field.  This could be because of the limitations of the position, or just how players utilize it.  Probably a topic for another discussion entirely :D
