"For some time now I have been trying to create ways to make this place somewhat livid. Honestly, I saw a spark of hope, but once again, it was just that, a spark. No fuel to let the fire continue to burn, no attempts for change. I have spent a good part of my life here vocal and outgoing. Today however I must announce that I will no longer make a presence in the streets. For some of you this is a relief I'm sure, and know what? You win."

Richard lights a blunt

"It seems the only thing that attracts mafioso's anymore is warfare and coffee shop drama. Sorry but if I wanted any part of that I would have just gotten married."

Takes another hit

"Have I enjoyed myself? Sure I have, but I will no longer put the time in for a few individuals enjoyment. So with that being said, I bid my vocal abilities farewell."

Now mute due to lack of vocal chords, Richard steps down, puts on his mime makeup and departs to the bakery for some fresh bread

Ah, a real shame. I have greatly enjoyed your various speeches. Today our world has suffered a real lose.

Not every mobster has the ability to create dozens of speeches or have the desire to attend all the great speeches.

Alabama's ears prick up as she hears Dick mention Marriage

Much like you going mute, I dont think I can imagine you settling down. I'm sure we shall see and hear you back on our streets again, I just hope its sooner rather than later. Your efforts to bring some voice back to these quiet streets have been highly entertaining to more than just a few individuals and im sure the lack of Dick will dissapoint a greay many, no less than those of female persuasion.

I too enjoyed listening to the speeches. Hopefully one day you will have your vocal cords replaced and return to the streets.

Your street speeches will honestly be missed.

I hope that you find motivation to continue soon, it'll be a shame to have to wait until the year 1998 for Viagra to be invented.

A great loss to our community as a whole. Your eloquence is outstanding and more than a little humerous. Please reconsider before these streets become a barren wasteland with nothing but auths and whinges.

Hearing the words of Dick, Crescendo halts before the gathered crowd and takes a long heavy drag from his cigarette. Turning on his heel he removes the cigarette from his mouth and flicks it, hitting a passing stray dog squarely between the eyes............

Hey there Dick............so sad to hear you`ve given up here in the streets. I suppose the fact that we`ve more listeners than speakers contributed to your decision. Well I`m afraid that`s just how it is. Unless of course you attract such an influx of comments due to the nature of the topic you have raised.

I think the streets needs a Dick every now and then. Something you`ve been providing so well of late.

I would like to remind you of one thing.....................To receive no response to something you have said, would not be an indication that it has not been heard.........

Dick, I am so very saddened to hear this. I always looked forward to walking the streets, listening to your many speeches as I took my breaks. I do hope that you will get bored and figure out that you miss speaking out here and one day decide to resume what you are so very good at, sharing yourself with the masses.

Cassiopeia walks away slowly, staring down at the ground, a little more heavy hearted.

Dick, as I have told you many times, I really enjoy your street speeches.  I'm usually not one to come out here and make a statement, but I have enjoyed your stories none the less.  I am sad to see you go, and I sincerely hope you change your mind as I could use the entertainment.
