Avenge is walking down the streets and has been pondering something for quite sometime. After deciding he asks for a milk crate as his signature way to address the mafioso's of this world. For sometime now I have been wondering about the Godfather system. I understand that I am a simple run of the mill Mafioso, but it confuses me. I understand what it is and how it is to work, but I feel certain thing's have been over looked you could say. I think what has been over looked is what happened to the Morocco Mole Division. Yes it was a crew to teach the new mafioso's to this world and send them up to Cathy, but how are those sub crews of each city to send members to full crews? I mean it'd take a war to make room for people to move up to the main crew's. Then if the sub crews sent up all the good mafioso's in their crew what would happen if they went to war? I mean would it become a city war? It just seems like many people could die just to make it somewhere and have to wait to begin again. Now that I've looked on the downside of things which isn't like me. Nor am I questioning the God's or the Crew Leaders on this. I just have been pondering the subject. I really like the idea because now we'll see more families and it'll bring more "action" you could say to this world of ours. I think it's a good idea, but maybe not so thought out. Maybe move up the limit to 75 of each crew to allow people to move from the Sub Crews to the main Crew, but still keep the Sub Crew Leaders with good mafioso's with good guns for protection. I just would like it maybe explained more through Johnny or Cathy maybe since they seem to be the two crew leaders experimenting with this method. In no way do I mean to be offensive, I just would like insight from everyone and see what they think. Avenge steps down and light's up a cigarette waiting for a response. |

I believe that Izzy enforced the 50 crew member rule to keep the crews from over powering one another, it makes it more "fair" I'm guessing was the reasoning behind it. I personally don't think we need to increase the number of members in each family considering we have New Orleans wide open. Maybe once we get more members in the game and it expands I'm sure that the gods will change the rule, but until then I believe that the rule is fine right now in itself. Back in the old day we had the six cities with 2 maybe 3 crews in each city and everyone was able to cope with it. |

| Actually Sticks...back in the day(around the time of the big v.day massacre) there were 5 crews per city with a large hq holding 300 people. | |

I don't know how Ms. Parks was handling it, but I do have an idea how Mr. Axe is handling it. He is transfering younger members down to the subcrews, which leaves spaces open for them when they are ready to move up to the main crew. As far as the "leaving subcrews with good guns for protection" goes, I am sure that the main CL's will allow for the subcrews to have some kind of protection, whether it be from the main crew or from guns inside the subcrew. And like you said they are experimenting. It will take a couple days to work out the kinks that they find and it will be perfected soon I am sure. |

Cathy Parks had received a message from one of her bag boys explaining that there was a conversation going on that involved her. Never one to miss out on discussion involving herself, she asked her driver DanK to take her over to where the talk was taking place and reached the Streets in time to join in. "From a few talks with the governing body of this world I understand that the system will work as follows: "All those made man and up will be in the immediate family as they are trusted. This procedure will also lend weight to the importance of such a rank as at the moment I don't believe there is enough emphasis on what "made" actually means. "So those in the subcrews will work their way up to the position of being "trusted" and "made". Until this happens they will work within the subcrews to prove themselves. The environment will be much smaller and provide more opportunity for training those who require it but also the occasion for those who do not require it, to get their head down and work their way up. "Obviously as you pointed out Signore Avenge, there is the problem of over-crowding. This I don't believe will be a problem due to the fact that ranking to made and above is not an easy feat and many do not make it that far. "Should there be a problem with overcrowding, then you have the possibility of expanding within your city. We have two leaders in Las Vegas currently and previously Oliver McTavish shared a city with Signore Axe. I certainly feel as though there is absolutely the opportunity for more leaders. Many years ago, there were several leaders in each of the cities, our world does not have the population to warrant it currently - hopefully we will see this change very soon. "Regarding the subcrews themselves, I set up Mystery for the sole purpose of training new people and this truly seemed to work very well. However, I feel what was lacking in that instance is the importance of those with experience passing their knowledge onto those whose lineage is new to this world. "My personal plan for the subcrews is that there will be a mix, but there will be special training for those that require it. Myself and my higher echelon will be the ones who will be doing the training. Hopefully with the majority of members in the subcrews and a smaller amount of people in the immediate family, there will be much more time for me to speak in the Streets, to work on the businesses in Philadelphia and also a chance for us to be able to dedicate the time to being able to keep the immigrants involved within the Family and to show them how they are not just another number or a dollar sign. That their presence in this world is a necessity for it to grow and evolve. "Although I am not usually one to talk about personal plans out in Streets, I cannot emphasise enough that we must be doing everything to make sure that brand new immigrants are kept involved in our world. Inactivity can be staved away with communication and involvement, and after several talks with my higher echelon, we understand that there needs to be special measures taken if we want to increase the population of this world." |
